A short 90-minute journey through the musical history of India - this programme is as colourful as the country itself.

We begin with almost 100-year-old songs by Khansahib Abdul Karim Khan, briefly touch on the infinite expanses of Indian classical music, look for the connection to jazz with T.K. Ramamoorthy, The Braz Gonzalves Seven, among others, and dance our way through film music between Bollywood and Kollywood to the disco sound of the 80s with composers R.D. Burman and Ilaiyaraaja.

This version is without the spoken parts, just the music.
