South Sudanese hip hop artist Mach Samuel Peter speaks about how his burgeoning music career ended in  2013 with the outbreak of civil war.

Mach asks South Sudan's political leaders to put aside their differences and reconcile the nation. The 27-year-old Bor, Jonglei state artist writes music that celebrates the independence struggle and the need to educate youth to build a better future for South Sudan.

Authorities of Bor Municipality in Jonglei state say the court cases have been suspended after the court house was burned down to ashes last night. 
Bench court is the main court of law that settles criminal cases of Bor town. 
It was set on fire early this morning by unknown people.

Anyar Kuol Anyieth is one of the broadcast Journalists employed by Internews, South Sudan to work for Mingkaman 100 FM station based in Awerial, Eastern Lakes state. 
He started this course under Humanitarian Radio program in May 2014. 
Anyar developed some tips on news editorial and reporting and writing scripts in his day to day ministry. 
He was enlighten to work on peace program as the best way of brain washing the traumatized civil population affected by South Sudan conflict. In the course of 2014, Anyar managed to produce four versions in that program, each tackling an angle of peace.
Both IDPs and the host communities living in Mingkaman camp were illuminated and ready to support peace through messages and stories of their live they share on the Radio. 
Currently Anyar Kuol is doing "Our village our story, a feature program on agriculture and livelihood, covering two states of Eastern Lakes and Jonglei. 
Mingkaman 100 FM is a community radio station that produces local News and programs that hit  people's demand. 
Mingkaman station was established in February 22nd 2014 to help Jonglei state's displaced population get information and news they need about peace. more importantly, the radio also help make two communities of Eastern Lakes and greater Bor citizens understand themselves amicably during relocation to the New Site as well as General Food Distribution site.






PLACE OF BIRTH 

Anyar Kuol Anyieth was born in 1986 in Pathoou residential area of Nook section hailing from Pakeer Community of Twic East County.
Twic East County is one of the largest Counties of Jonglei state comprise of five Payams of Pakeer, Ajuong, Nyuak, Kongor and Lith. 
His father Kuol Anyieth Deng was a sultan in his community before he was killed  in 1991.
Anyar remains with his mother and three other siblings for the rests of his times in Baidit Payam where his mother Akol Deng Nguot-nyin hail from before he started his education.






EDUCATION 

Anyar Kuol was one of the nomadic boys who loves pasturing cattle, wrestling and hunting was also an  addition to his daily activities. He started his primary education in Baidit primary school in the year 2002 and with his potential and committment, he managed to finished his Primary education in 2009 with distinction ( He was ranked second in Jonglei state examinations for primary education). 
After completing primary education, he enrolled at Nile High School in Yei and studied both Sciences and art subjects. 
In 2012, he joined Yei Day Senior Secondary school where he graduated with certificate of South Sudan secondary education in Sciences in 2013 academic year. 
Anyar Kuol is now a student at Juba University studying  Broadcast Journalism offered by Rhodes University, South Africa with support from USAID.
