@through-the-wire: The photo's taken in the UK in a valley near where I grew up in Manchester. It's actually a photo of a reflection turned upside down to make the reflected image look surreal.

The second album from Any Idle Clone, released on iTunes May 2011. Stories features a richer, more multi-instrumental sound, in evidence in "Everything's Flashing Zeros". However, listeners seeking familiar stripped-back folk meanderings from the debut album will find them in songs such as "Time Traveller" - an ode to a departed friend.

First conceived in early 2009, Any Idle Clone is a solo music project in which all material is written, performed and produced by a Manchester-based singer-songwriter. Tracks from the debut album, released in 2010, feature a strong acoustic influence, relying on piano and guitar accompaniments, stripped back vocals and an emphasis on story-telling lyrics.
