Hot Creations deliver ‘Words Gone’, the first single from the forthcoming artist album ‘Love Somebody’ by Parisian luminary Popof.

Featuring the handsome voice of Arno Joey, ‘Words Gone’ is a stunning slice of electronic music with crossover appeal, giving us a taster of what is in store for the album. Cadenza boss Luciano’s remix dives into tribal percussion, while main man Jamie Jones flips into a new gear, introducing a new melody, deep pads and emotive keys. Canadian techno legend Marc Houle is last to remix, using a bright synth melody to add a new groove.

Voted Best Newcomer artist at the Ibiza DJ Awards in 2009, Popof has gained notoriety for his work with Cocoon, and remixing the likes of Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, and Moby. One of the most downloaded artists in techno music, he was appointed the official mentor of the Paris Techno Parade 2013's fifteen year anniversary, a great honour he shared in front of 300.000 participants.

One of the biggest names in dance music, Luciano has released on labels such as Perlon, Transmat and Lo-Fi Stereo. Aside running Hot Creations, Hot Trax and Paradise, Jamie Jones is this year launching his new imprint Emerald City alongside Lee Foss. Another huge name in the business, live artist Marc Houle can be found on imprints such as Richie Hawtin’s Minus and his own Items & Things.

Einklang
Auf die Frage „Wie geht es Dir“  lautet die Antwort in fast allen Fällen „Gut und dir?“. Entweder weil man weiß, dass die Frage rein obligatorisch gestellt wurde oder um Situationen mit sich selbst auszumachen. Doch wer Dich wirklich kennt weiß wie es Dir geht und erkennt es bereits an der Mimik, Gestik oder Stimmlage. Glücklich sein bedeutet, mit der Umgebung, den Menschen und vor allem mit sich selbst im Reinen zu sein. Sich Fehler einzugestehen,  sich so zu akzeptieren wie man ist und im Hier und Jetzt zu leben und die Minuten des Glückes zu genießen. Auch schlimme Situationen im Leben gehören dazu. Nichts läuft immer nach Plan und es gibt Dinge, die man nicht beeinflussen kann. Diese Erfahrungen formen ebenfalls den Charakter und machen uns stärker. Die Musik begleitet uns in all‘ diesen Situationen und jeder kennt es: Man hört einen Track und hat Bilder im Kopf von bestimmte Momenten, die man mit diesem Titel verbindet. Nur wer im Einklang mit sich selbst ist kann Gefühle, genau wie die Musik es tut, auf andere Menschen übertragen.

Mosaique
An vielen Tagen gibt es immer wieder die kleinen, ruhigen Momente in welchen wir nachdenklich werden. Sei es in der Bahn auf dem Weg zur Arbeit, kurz vorm Einschlafen oder während wir uns dabei erwischen, in alten Erinnerungen zu schwelgen. Oft stellen wir uns im Hier und Jetzt die Frage, was der Sinn hinter dem ist was uns oder unseren Liebsten wiederfährt. Nach einigen Jahren stellen wir fest, dass Vieles eine Verkettung von Ereignissen ist und sich am Ende fügt wie ein Mosaik. Untermalt werden diese Erinnerungen und Gefühle häufig durch Musik, die in uns mehr Emotionen als alles andere hervorruft.

Release Info: 
This is the final release in Thomas Schumachers break out Natural Rhythm trilogy on Noir Music. Not only did he position himself on the top of the charts with the first two releases but he also put his name straight in the spotlight and into the dj-sets of many of the top players in the techno scene.

So whats the next move when you have great success and peoples attention ?For both Noir Music and Thomas Schumacher its a no-brainer; You take it one step further and keep challenging yourself and your audience.

The opener Stella on this release is an example of just that. A very emotional string-led track accompanied by relentless techno beats, distorted arppeggios and a big cinematic break to make you pull your hair out from pure joy (i know i almost did).
Persistence is a mesmerising acid-journey that digs deeper and deeper in its intensity as it evolves into one of Thomas Schumachers signature breaks. Then the track takes an unexpected turn through a more complex, dynamic rhythm before resolving back together with its contagious 303 theme.

Its another 2-tracker from Thomas Schumacher where I feel I signed two a-sides as he just keeps making quality music the way only he knows how. It puts a smile on my face every time I play these tracks in the clubs around the globe and I hope it will please your ears as well.

One of the most eagerly anticipated electronic albums of 2012 is finally released! After a series of groundbreaking singles: Pain In the Ass, Im Week and Ghetto Kraviz (featured here) Muscovite Nina Kraviz is set to release her eponymously titled debut artist album on Radio Slaves superb Rekids imprint. Ninas album is a combination of stripped-bare house, deepest Detroit sounds via beautifully ambient pockets and more soul infused slo-mo jams, all coated with an authentic analogue finish and Nina exquisite vocals. The music is emotive and engaging, whilst being something truly original and inspirational. The album features collaborations with Hard Ton and King Aus. Playing out like a full artistic statement rather than just a collection of tracks, the odd time signatures, innocent and waify vocals, muted acid lines and hypnotic loops layered up by Nina all work subtly at pulling you into her world. A superbly, executed and accomplished debut album that has already set the bar high for electronic albums this year.
