@JubileeDJ's Magic City label is proud to release Bianca Oblivion's first double single, "Sub Zero"

Bianca has had a love of grime since discovering Dizzee’s “Boy in Da Corner,” which inspired her to dig deep through blogs and YouTube recommendations as she scoured the web to discover more of these sounds emerging from London. Now visiting the U.K. regularly and witnessing the culture first hand, Bianca views the “Sub Zero” release as a homage to those early years of grime, brought into 2022 with rave/club elements. 

“Selecta’s” anthemic flute sample, reminiscent of Ruff Sqwad’s “Pied Piper,” draws you in until the bass and breaks hit you with maximum force. “Eski Rave” is full of square synths and Eski clicks, along with vocal clips from the classic grime doc “Wot Do U Call It.”  “Sub Zero” is both a reference to the “icy” language of grime (Eskimo/Eski, Ice Rink) and the low end, floor-shaking “sub” frequencies essential to soundsystem music.
