A new episode in the series features a very special guest—Tim, aka caapi, a driving force of Glasgow’s underground scene. Over the past few years, Tim and @lizzie-urquhart have been creating the deeply heartfelt and immersive label @somewherepress. 
Now, Tim has launched their own label called 'blush', and this mix serves as a kind of sonic palette—or mood board, if you will—that they’ve carefully curated to establish the tone and identity of the label.

Listening to Tim's mixes is always an incredibly fascinating and inspiring experience for me. They are crafted with such skill and intricacy, always full of hidden layers and depth. This mix is no exception—I listened to it several times before its release, and each time, I discovered new shades and nuances. I'm thrilled that Tim chose to present such an important and personal story in the De Kat Memwa series.

Here’s what Tim had to say about the mix:

*My intention with blush is to explore DIY, arcane and delicate sound work with a playful and personal approach.

I recorded the mix as a way to understand the sound that's been forming in my mind over many months, and it captures the mood of what I'm going for.

At the heart, it's an exploration into ambient guitar works, particularly the kind of ephemeral moments when a zoom recorder is left on and spontaneous playing merges with the environment. But there's also a playful distortion to this, tinged with the influence of obscure '90s ambient trip-hop and sample-based music.

My first tape release as blush, by ana reme, explores romantic atmospheres and dated textures and is a big influence for me also.

I'm drawn to fluttering synths through layers of hissing tape noise, ambient guitars recorded serendipitously, obscure trip-hop that never found its place, twee indie soft rock, and everything in between.

The photos are of a waterfall in Bavaria that I photographed in the summer—they felt kind of right for this mix: a bit mystical but also strange and kind of timeless.*

Another chapter in our calmness series comes from electronic musician @geklaper, based in Saint Petersburg. We first discovered his music back in 2023, when he released his fifth album 'brighter', and we couldn’t resist inviting him to create a mix inspired by it. 

The next hour is an immersive portal into a selection of ambient dub and downtempo tracks from the time when 'brighter' was recorded. Inside, you’ll find music by Piper Spray, Lena Tsibizova, Mike Midnight, Space Afrika, and more.

Lumpex runs a czarnagora between the cracks some times alone mostly with friends 
started in 2020 as a repository for the production of goofies 
april 2025, specifically 10th of april, marks the release anniversary of love will protect each and everyone of us by Semka which in turn ignited the event known as the erosion of the black mountain.
to celebrate the gigs the live and the recorded audio a short anthology has been compiled of past and a couple of future releases.
