Seasons greetings! We're closing out 2024 with a selector that perhaps needs no further introduction, but in case you've been living under a rock for the past 15 years, we are extremely excited to present the next Idle Cellars mix by the one and only EDDIE C! Mr. C (NOT THAT ONE) is, in our esteemed opinion, one of the best DJ's in the entire world and we're crazy stoked to have him as the next IC mix for your listening pleasure. Canada-born & Berlin-bred, Eddie has been gallivanting all over the globe as a musical expert in a world of tourists, ready to spread good vibes and his sparkling personality (plus that Canadian politeness we always hear about) to the four corners of the planet. 

His resume is, frankly, ridiculous. As a producer and "editor", Eddie is responsible for countless fantastic releases across disco edit labels like his own RED MOTORBIKE, COMMON EDIT, 7 INCHES OF LOVE, KOLOUR LTD, SLEAZY BEATS, LUMBERJACKS IN HELL and many, many more, plus he's been fully embraced by the Japanese contingent with many releases on MULE sublabel ENDLESS FLIGHT as well as CRUE-L & SOUNDOFSPEED. The man's discography as a producer is as wide as it is deep and he continues to be extremely active with new remixes or originals coming out regularly.

DJ-wise our boy has the chops to be dropped into any situation and rock the party, whether that's at Cafe Del Mar, Panoramabar, the Sunset Campout or dodgy mafia-run nightclubs in deepest Eastern Europe. To put it succinctly, he is...THE MAN. 

We think Eddie C is a perfect closer to our year. Thanks for coming along with us on these journeys, and we hope you can give us a subscribe and stay tuned - we have some seriously cool things happening for 2025 so don't sleep, and have a wonderful holiday season and New Year. What up Idle Cellars fam? We’re back with another stellar new mix for your spring-into-summer fun, so pop a tasty bottle and get horizontal! Once again we’re proud to give you a mix from some of the world’s best selectors and this month showcases another favorite - it’s Brooklyn’s JKriv! We met Jason while he was holding down basslines for incredible acoustic House band Tortured Soul, which he followed swiftly by a stint in NYC disco-obsessed group Escort (amazing!), then linking up with Aaron Dae to create the influential Razor-N-Tape label empire! Since then the man has been living the disco dream, traveling the world playing tunes, making some fantastic music (check out his groovy and soothing Within EP) and opening the RNT record shop in addition to being a wonderful human being. 

He’s hooked us up with a poolside killer that has us dreaming of hot, hazy afternoons treading water, mornings when there’s nothing to do but soak in some rays, & nights of wine & torchlit patios. We hope you enjoy as much as we do!

From the beardy acoustic era of late 1960s Laurel Canyon to the white-suited Yacht Rock yuppies of the early 1980s, AOR Disco seeks out the best in vintage Californian drive-time hits, soft-rock disco, psychedelic funk, and the kind of obscure album tracks you might find at the back of your dad's record collection.
