In a tranquil night, the Moon descends, spilling silver whispers upon the lake. Each ripple dances, deep and resonant, echoing through the stillness. The air pulses with a heartbeat, as if the water breathes in sync with the ambience, drawing all into its embrace. Shadows sway softly, harmonising with the ethereal glow, crafting a symphony of light and sound. Here, the Moon finds its home, merging with the depths, where dreams drift and flow intertwine, a cosmic lullaby that beckons all to listen.

As we venture into the 19th edition of The Frontier we are excited to welcome an Artist and label owner that we’ve been fans of for a long time - The Belfast-based DJ and founder of Computer Controlled Records - Nez 

Over the past 2 decades, he’s carved out a distinct voice in the underground scene, both as a selector and as a curator, driven by a deep respect for the roots of electronic music and a hunger for its future possibilities. 

Known for intense, tightly crafted sets, Nez brings an uncompromising approach to the dancefloor. His selections speak to years spent digging, listening, and understanding how music moves people physically and emotionally. There's a clarity of intent in his sets: no gimmicks, no trend-chasing, just pure, high-voltage energy built for dark rooms and late hours.

Through Computer Controlled Records, he’s released music from like-minded artists who share a passion for hardware-driven sound and DIY ethos. The label has become a trusted outlet for heads seeking depth and authenticity, reflecting Nez’s commitment to keeping the underground alive and vital.

Outside the booth and studio, Nez remains active in the Belfast scene, supporting local talent, hosting events, and helping build a space where music can thrive on its own terms. Whether he’s playing to a packed club or championing a new artist, the goal stays the same: to serve the music and the people who live for it.

For his Frontier mix Nez has delivered an hour and 40 minutes of his usual full throttle style, heads down, dance-floor orientated pumpers. This is definitely one that will require some dancing shoes.

The Frontier 019 - Nez

For this year's final podcast chapter we've prepared something special and as we're also celebrating the winter solstice where brighter days are ahead of us - this trip really hit the spot. The author for the occasion is someone who we've been following carefully lately being very impressed by his own productions and dj-sets. With a mutual taste for trancey and psychedelic sounds our paths crossed and we look forward to co-create releases for the ages. Please welcome Adam Pits to our series. 

London born DJ and Producer Adam Pits has been a valuable component of the psychedelic dance music scene’s re-emergence in recent years. With releases on Space Lab, Further Sessions, On Rotation, murmurs and many more, he has been able to express his vast musical imagination.

His innate understanding of feeling and effect within music has helped nurture his involvements in running labels ‘On Rotation’ and ‘murmurs’ and overseen his explorations playing at some of the best clubs and festivals the world has to offer including Fabric, Macadam, Nowadays, Ozora, Dimensions and many more. Having played countless all night long and extended sets, Adam appears to flourish in an environment that encourages journeying, patience and meditation without tainting the inevitable momentum that ensues. 
 
His latest venture comes in the form of his own solo label ‘murmurs’ which highlights his love and fascination for atmospheric and immersive productions, showcasing some of the best talent from around the world.

Having had a residency at London's new ‘Social Sauna Club’ he has been able to exercise his love for ambience and texture, reimagining.

Navigare Audio features NESS with this mix that includes mostly tracks from 2025 and was recorded in November at the Green Room, Sofia. Ness is the alias of Andrea Deplano, a pioneering force in the world of deep and hypnotic techno, with a career spanning over a decade. Raised in Sardinia, with a background in sound engineering and a passion for obsessive rhythms and atmospheric soundscapes, he has honed his craft to masterful levels. His performances and productions are a journey through the depths of techno, with a focus on hypnotic rhythms and immersive textures.  Over the years, he has performed at some of the world's most renowned clubs and festivals. He has also collaborated with several respected labels in the industry, showcasing his ability to seamlessly incorporate contemporary sounds in his productions.  In addition to his work as a producer and DJ, he has also made significant contributions to the techno community sometimes as an event organizer more often as a label manager. In 2010, he co- founded The Gods Planet, an Italian electronic music label that quickly gained recognition for its innovative and high-quality techno releases.  Through his music and label work, Ness has become an ambassador for the hypnotic techno movement. His tracks are beloved by fans worldwide for their ability to transport the listener to otherworldly realms.

My story with music started long before I ever touched decks. Back in the late ’90s, I was throwing underground EDM nights — hauling speakers, wiring sound systems, and creating moments in squats and dark basements. Those nights taught me what energy and community really mean. 

These days, with algorithms running the music industry, I search for underground artists that still sound raw and alive. My sets move through progressive, breakbeat, techno, ambient, and dub, creating versatile cinematic soundscape. 

I don't confine my self to one particular genre in my sets I play what i think  sounds beautiful honest, raw and pure. Thank you for listening.
