What up people, I go by AP MUSIQ my government name is Alfred Perkins... I love this shit, for no other reason except the love for the creation. MUSIQ allows those of us that are unable to build or craft something without instructions to let loose and create. It get us a platform to say what we feel or have felt at anytime of our lives. Like taking a picture, musiq takes you back to that moment when you felt something. If the musiq you listen to doesn't make you feel something then you're listening to the wrong shit. I ask that you take your time with my musiq, please feel free to download and comment on everything you like and everything you don't like!    

AP MUSIQ is also on half of a production team called ChillFRESH formed in 2007; the other half of the dual is a northern California native Dan Tabes otherwise known as Chill... These two both have their own style that they mesh together to make ChillFRESH MUSIQ.

AP MUSIQ is associated with a indie label called POWER MUSIQ. POWER MUSIQ was formed in 2011 by Alfred Perkins III (AP MUSIQ) Cory Perkins (C.Nice) Thai Williams, and Rae’Nelle Smith.  Managed by Cory Doucet, and linked with DeLure Visionz Photography. POWER MUSIQ has a motto: “MUSIQ OVER EVERYTHING” We want to eventually become, an elite music force that is known to the world. 


Justin James Fick (born October 28th, 1985) recreated himself as Optimizm in the year 2014. He uses good mental attitude to interpret situations with positivity and visualize the best possible outcome.The glass half full outlook has proven to be effective in his creative career. 

Optimizm continues to express himself with artistic mannerisms by engaging in a broad spectrum or level of creativity. This creativity is flexed through stylized multi-syllable rhythmic speech that is mixed with computer generated beats and brought to life through videography.
