Naif - Hidup Itu Indah

Titik Cerah adalah album studio ketiga dari grup band Naif yang dirilis pada tahun 2002. Album ini merupakan album terakhir dengan keyboardist Chandra. Album ini mengusung lagu andalan Aku Rela, Curi-curi Pandang dan Dia Adalah Pusaka Sejuta Umat Manusia Yang Ada di Seluruh Dunia. Titik Cerah masuk ke dalam daftar 150 Album Indonesia Terbaik versi majalah Rolling Stone Indonesia pada tahun 2007.

The lights of the shopping mall
sparkled like colors painted in the air.

Voices, music, the smell of fresh bread—
everywhere I looked was a brand-new world,
and I couldn’t hold back my joy.

“Wow! Look, that one…
Oh, that too! I saw it on TV!”

Each time I pointed from my wheelchair,
he smiled and nodded, “Yes, yes.”
And every smile warmed my chest,
until tears almost overflowed.

So happy, yet tears came.
“Because… I never knew this before.”

Living means this—
to see and choose something together with someone.
At last, I understood.

In the little shop,
surrounded by teddy bears, notebooks, and mugs,
I heard myself saying, “Which one should I choose?”
It felt like a dream.

“This one is cute, but that one too…
I can’t decide!”

Maybe my voice was too loud,
but for the first time,
I was inside the freedom of choice.

Then suddenly, I saw it—
a small fountain pen.
Dark navy, slender shape.
I knew at once it would fit his hand,
as if it belonged to him.

“…This one.”

The first thing I chose
was not for me.
It was a gift for him.

While the clerk wrapped it carefully,
I kept watching.
What I had chosen
would become part of his everyday life.
How amazing that was.

---

“Wait… it’s not for yourself?”
he asked, surprised.

“No. Because you always think of me,
I wanted, just once,
to give you something born from my thought of you.”

I laughed through tears.
Happy, proud, alive—
because I had become someone
who could truly give.

---

“For the first time,
I felt deep inside my heart
that living is wonderful—
not when I chose for myself,
but when I chose a gift for you.

The wish to make you smile
renewed my life.”

In that moment,
she was no longer “the girl in the hospital room.”
She was a being who could give,
a truly free soul.

Living means this—
to see the same view,
to hear the same sound,
to choose something together.
And at last,
I could believe it with all my heart.
