“Yokota’s music was always completely individual, always esoteric yet never willfully indulgent. His touch was that of a master craftsman, creating intricate musical jewels that sparkled like no others. There’s no doubt that if he had been in a position to play live concerts his reputation would far exceed many of his contemporaries. He will be sorely missed by those who value quality and originality in music”.

A clear tribute Eafhm make to him consisting of several sessions and live performances with a special dedication, full of love and a lot of hard work on. Fun, demented, freewheeling, colourful, narcotic and oddly human. A fully acknowledgment of gratitude, respect and admiration. Timeless. Thanks.

As if it was a science fiction movie, our brain gives wings to THE imagination. It is like entering a futuristic but abandoned machinery fabric in the middle of nature EARTH, far away from the suffocating concrete jungle. Suddenly, after going through all the corridors and observing all kind of weird machines and its sounds, a long distance powerful lfo sound from a noisy machine is getting closer and closer until it cools down smoothly. It HAS been a brilliant experimental dron intro with perfect melodic saturation. Once outdoors, breathing the flora and fauna MUSIC, I’m ready to explore the surroundings FOR a little while (excellent textures and good sound design). THOSE percussion grooves melting with imponent noisy bass dark sounds, give way to the night. Full moon and no light at all (wonderful gloomy soundscapes accompanied with interesting well processed field recordings footsteps). I can hear someone, WHO is talking to me? Hey, LISTEN! Definitely ‘The Earth Hath Music For Those Who Listen’.

Enveloped in sonic obscurity yet prominent in his work and influence, rookas has been the mainstay flagbearer of the Lithuanian techno scene for the past decade. Straying far from banality in musical selections and always maintaining a forward thinking attitude as head of the  event DAI movement, his artistry remains unmistakeably conceptual and technical, never succumbing to any mainstream forces damaging to the concrete integrity of his sound.
The discrete head of Static Motion treated us with a mystic set almost 3hr long. The journey is textured, ambient and deep, and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.
