Lowlight Gathering are a Monaghan/Dublin based acoustic/indie/folk inspired band consisting of Charlie Livingstone (Acoustic Guitar/Lead Vocals) Gregory O’Neill (Bass/Backing Vocals) Daniel Mahony (Piano/Backing Vocals) Shay Sweeney (Drums/Percussion) and Chris Cole (Guitars/Good looks).

Winners of the “Best Newcomer 2017” Award and Nominee for “EP of the Year” at the PureM Awards in August 2017. The bands debut EP “Young Hearts” has received critical acclaim  with the likes of Nialler9 claiming in the Irish Times that the bands “Young Hearts EP” marks the band out as one to watch” and a review from StreetCeol stated that Young Hearts is “A brilliant debut EP and a great starting point for the lads from Monaghan. These guys will be making waves across the country and hopefully another EP or album are on the horizon.” 
2017 seen the band touring the length and breadth of Ireland playing numourious festivals in support of the “Young Hearts” EP and has seen the band supporting the likes of The Hothouse Flowers, The Riptide Movement, The Magic Numbers and Ryan Sheridan. 

2018 will see the band recording the follow up to their debut EP and will see the band release their debut single....
