At the dawn of the digital century, UFO Dance emerged from the underground with a sound that defied genre and a vision that shaped an era. As the founder of an MP3.COM label ‘United Federation of Dance’, UFO Dance blended punk roots with the pulse of electronic music—creating something raw, hypnotic, and unapologetically different.

A punk kid in 1978, a digital disruptor by 2000—UFO Dance’s journey began in the fury of guitar-driven rebellion and evolved into the glossy noir of synth-laced grooves. Think joy Division, Echo & the Bunnymen, and The Cure, reborn through the circuitry of early Fruityloops. The result? Music that doesn’t play by the rules—because it helped write new ones.

Not content with just making tracks, UFO Dance started giving back—literally. The early experiments with Fruityloops birthed Freeloops.co.uk, a groundbreaking platform for free loops and FL Studio training videos long before the mainstream caught on. It didn’t just support producers—it inspired an entire wave of loop-based music creation. You could say Freeloops was open-source creativity before it was cool.

From winning Café Del Mar heat of white label 12” competition to stepping away from the scene at their peak, UFO Dance has always moved on instinct. Now, with time to reflect and play, UFO Dance is back—older, sharper, more driven than ever.
