Apellum | DJ Sets

This was my set for the closing slot from 04:30 after a night of really good music and DJs. It was a pre-selected open decks night hosted at The Oven, an after-hours venue here in Austin that brings through some really good shows and music (e.g. Sara Landry from the back-in-the-day Austin underground).

It was a really fun set! Threw a couple curveballs in there, while obviously staying rooted in techno :) Really appreciate being able to play there 🙏

Tinou is a French DJ based in Leipzig and is part of the Cannes à Son Soundsystem crew from Vendée in the West of France, organising Free Tekno and Tribe Raves. In this mix, however, he's spinning hard-hitting yet groovy techno that makes you want to dance. A votre santé! 

He recorded a nice 3-deck mix, with oldskool techno vinyls and more recent digital stuff, a groovy treat that captures the techno spirit well.

Exiled for 7 years in Leipzig in Germany, for his job in logistics in the DJ agency Electrobooking, Tinou made a nice collection of vinyls there, evolving his style towards a groovy, hypnotic, acid and powerful techno like we love. If you pass by, you might have the chance to see Tinou in a club in Leipzig, Dresden or Berlin.
