Born in Cuneo (Northern Italy) in Summer 2008, featuring two members from Italian brutal death band Septycal Gorge, Ape Unit has always been focused on mixing grinding powerviolence, speed and noisy dissonant riffs, inspired by well-known acts such as Terrorizer, Siege and early Napalm Death, with sparks of insanity brought by bands like The Jesus Lizard and Arab on Radar. 

After an appearance on some compilation, they release their first EP, Albert, in 2010.

After some line up changes, in September 2012 a DIY conspiracy allows the monkey collective to release their first album, Unforgivable Holidays, under coproduction of TADCA Records and Grindpromotion.The release is well promoted with lots of concerts, including a stunning performance at Obscene Extreme Fest in 2013, as well as gigs with all star bands like Ratos De Porao, Cripple Bastards and Napaalm Death.

In late 2013, because of a muscolar problem, Los decide to move on guitar, and Steve from thrash metal act Endovein joined the band.

After three years, finally the monkey is going to release a new album in September 2015.

Promiting positive vibes and crushing riffs 

FRANA is a four-piece band hailing from Milan (Italy). They play an energetic, pummelling, nervous, spiraling, noisy post-punk. They also talk a great deal of nonsense and goofy jokes. A whirlwind of angst powering a blend of captivating melodies and unpredictable slashing riffs.

FRANA releases include the EP „***“ (self-released) in 2013, the EP „Odds And Ends“ released on one-sided 12’’ vinyl (Il Verso Del Cinghiale, Munich Punk Shop, Neat is Murder) in 2015, the 7’’ split record with Opiliones in 2016 (Munich Punk Shop, Frammenti Di Un Cuore Esploso,
Antena Krzyku) and the full-length „Awkwardwards“ out in 2018 for Antena Krzyku, Vollmer Industries, Brigante Records and Productions, Violet DAM Records, Oh! Dear Records, Hidden Hands Records and Entes Anomicos. All releases are distributed in Italy by Shove Records and in Germany by X-Mist.
