Apex UK is predominantly a commercial Drum n Bass & Drumstep/Dubstep Dj /Radio /Podcast  producer from Essex UK 

Formerly of Mystery Fm, Illusion FM, RenegadeLive & RoughTempoRadio

After growing up from an early age listening to Drum & Bass blasting from his brothers bedroom it was clear that this fast paced genre and attitude would run through his veins for years to come. 
At 18, Apex started on his first ever FM radio show, saturday night 1-3 on Mystery FM 87.5, 9 months later he had the primetime Friday night 7-9 slot and Mystery Fm was broadcasting over 2 frequencies covering Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Kent and parts of Hertfordshire and sometimes even France.
He was asked to play a set at the now infamous Roswell raves and have become a regular face performing at this epic event twice a year for Area 51 records.

Things continued and Apex played on his second FM radio station - Illusion FM for about 9 months and slowly started discovering the filthy wobbles dubstep had to offer. Then supporting the likes of KENNY KEN, NICKY BLACKMARKET  and HEIST  
He then secured his first 'corporate' deal playing for TOYOTA at the Japanese Car Festival.
It is around this time he build himself a soundproof studio large enough to cater for all of his equipment and production gear.

Apex then returned to Mystery FM and their new studio, things were getting better, this time he held down a busy 9-11 slot on a Saturday night, this time playing Dubstep as well as Drum n Bass. MC SHABBA became a feature on his Mystery FM shows as he presented and produced the intro skits and interlude's. SHABBA's Cousin MC KO'ZEE was a regular MC on his shows.
A couple of years on, Apex secured a slot on RenegadeLive and covered shows for friends on the up and coming RoughTempoRadio

Apex then secured his own show on RoughTempoRadio Saturday nights at 10 GMT and got to rub shoulders with some bigger names.
And his first residency for the summer began at LIQUID in Ipswich, Suffolk, played with COKI, CODA, had drinks with ANDY C and things continued on...

Fast forward to today, Apex now holds down a regular Saturday night takeover on 
www.vibeessex.net or via the tune-in app showcasing the latest releases in Drum & Bass and some good friendly radio banter.

At the same time Apex also has a Podcast entitled 'THE DROP POD' available via i-Tunes and on his Youtube Channel Apex (uk). This is a Sponsored fortnightly publication, showcasing the latest releases in Drum & Bass from the past fortnight, also a curveball / feature track and a fairly well known artist in for the guestmix.

Aside from playing with some of his idols Apex is always pushing things forward to keep up with them...maturing with the scene and looking for new challenges, venue's, genre's and generally people to please.
