DarkSoundSystem, un talentoso productor de música electrónica, ha trazado un viaje musical único desde sus 9 años. Iniciando su viaje en el mundo de la música mediante el estudio del solfeo clasico y el acordeón. Su afan por la musica y aprender continuo es es su pasion por lo que hace. este autodidacta se aventuró en la exploración de percusiones africanas, marcando sus primeros pasos hacia una fusión musical única.

Su búsqueda de conocimiento lo llevó a un fascinante viaje a Guinea Conakry, donde se sumergió en la riqueza de las percusiones africanas y los ritmos ancestrales. Aprendiendo de los mejores percusionistas y sumergiéndose en la cultura, DarkSoundSystem incorporó estas experiencias en sus primeras autoproducciones, consolidando su identidad sonora.

Actualmente, forma parte del equipo de MoonLifeRecords y Records Group, destacados sellos en la escena musical. Su facilidad creativa y productiva infinita lo distingue, permitiéndole explorar y fusionar patrones rítmicos más ancestrales con sonidos futuristas de manera innovadora.

Apex first discovered electronic music through drum and bass, playing alongside respected artists such as Kenny Ken, Brockie and Shy FX. After spending a while travelling and repeatedly finding himself drawn to psytrance parties he decided that was the music he really wanted to DJ. 

Since then he has energised dance floors at parties and festivals such as Hadra, Soulclipse, Aurora, Alien Safari, Prism, Burning Man, 303 Art Festival and many others. He has made appearances in America, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, England, France, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Morocco, Norway, South Africa, Switzerland, Tunisia, Thailand and Turkey.

He has released collaborations with artists including Rev, Ajja, Aphid Moon and Yab-Yum on various compilations. 

He has also compiled two compilations for Peak Records, Peak-a-doodle-doo, that was released in 2008, and Peakological, released in November 2011. 

He is label DJ for Peak Records(CH), Northern Psylight Records (NO) and Ganjatree Records (BE).
