The Bunker Podcast 229 comes from Berlin's @sarahwreath, who takes you on a journey of intricate rhythms intertwine, leading you deeper into a mesmerizing labyrinth of sound. 

If listening, collection, and selection have been daily habits since her youth, the processes of production and devoted explorations into the ripples of sound became the most important aspects of her current practice. In her vision, there is no prevailing preference over the role of producer or DJ - no hierarchical distinction amongst the club’s dancefloor, the acoustic hall or the healing sound bath. In the same perspective, both the creator and the careful selector of music & sound are entrusted with the power of touching the body-mind complexities of listeners and dancers with forceful acoustic messages.

Starting off 2024, she made her debut at Tresor Berlin for her first contribution to Infrastructure New York, which also features her collaborative work with David Sumner aka Function, from the Sandwell District collective.

With every Full Moon or solar eclips I will present a new artist which I highly admire, respect and who emodies and understands the dark, ambient and hypnotic side of techno.⁠

The Full Moon is a time of blossom and highlights.⁠
The Full Moon equals the spiritual and energetic culmination.⁠
⁠
When the Full Moon has passed, the Waning Moon phase begins.⁠ This is the time to let go what no longer serves you.⁠

Today we have a Full Moon in the mysterious and intense sign Scorpio and right in the opposite of the sign Taurus.

Scorpio is not afraid of a little darkness. In fact, this sign prefers to dive straight in. No sense of superficiality, no masks, no fancy talk. During this moon you are invited to really feel what's under the surface. What have you been hiding away all this time? Scorpio wants the bottom line, even if it's a little uncomfortable.

Scorpio also represents transformation. Letting go, starting over, reinventing yourself. And if there's one sign that doesn't like that, it's Taurus. Taurus prefers to keep everything the way it was. Safe and familiar, without risks or big leaps. You probably feel that contradiction these days. You want to change, but you also want to hold on. You feel something is chafing, but don't know exactly.

After connecting and spending some inspiring time together, we decided to share this special mix for the occasion.
And as it happens, today we’re back together once again celebrating this meaningful day under the longest light of the year, surrounded by good energy and deep frequencies.

Dani Lehman – Live at Dirty Epic Anthology Movement Closing Party (26.05.2015) – 12:15AM

Aphotic Relics are documentations of artistic expression occurring beyond the reach of light. This music series features exclusive live recordings of performances from deep within the Brooklyn New York underground movement.

California’s Dirty Epic organized the official Movement 2015 closing party, Anthology, at The Works, where Aphotic proudly hosted the outdoor patio.  Also being showcased that evening, New York’s own The Bunker.

The outdoor patio at The Works was in full swing by the time Aphotic resident, Dani Lehman graced the decks. Her percussive and imposing selections only served to tease the patrons on the opposite side of the fence eagerly waiting to enter this final techno binge for the weekend. Never one to let up, Dani delivered this concise but noteworthy set.

-This live set was secretly recorded by a sound guy from Rex Club directly from mixer, that's why the sound quality is so good. He was later fired for that.

-You can clearly hear a slight mistake at 24:24. One of them played the wrong sample.

-I don't know if this is true or not, but Rex Club was founded in 1992 and originally titled "Silver Club" (remember Daft Punk's Indo Silver Club song?).
