who go crazy over Christmas

what Christmas is even about?
why don't I tell you what Christmas is about
it’s gonna get a little bit choppy
so grab on to me...

some folks decorate an evergreen tree
none can agree
on what the trees symbolize
some say renewal
others say eternal life
or could be just the way 
we shake down nature for a prize

it’s either Jesus or it’s pagan

some people sing carols 
about reindeer in the snow
to celebrate a certain Middle Eastern birth
and some sing “I don’t want
a lot for Christmas”
as they max out their credit card

it’s either St. Nick or Coca-Cola

so let’s gather round family and friends
then look at others for what triggers or offends
that’s because what Christmas is all about
is telling others what their Christmas
should be about

me tell you all about Christmas

many hate their own tradition’s Xmas
let alone vestiges of Roman Saturnalia
for some goody-two-shoes it is a chance to flex—
must rally hard for all demonic practices to go belly up
 
you know the Yule log’s probably Satan

Western kids write to Santa
and ask for massive presents
the same guy who used to beat up
naughty children with a stick
(he could really jingle bells, jingle bells)
he owns a factory up North now
and skims from his elves’ wages
I guess a useful lesson—it pays to be a dick

does he ever make it down to Angola?

gather round, my dear family and friends
let’s look at the neighbors for what triggers and offends
we know too well what Christmas is about
It’s about judging others and calling the heathens out!

All About Christmas

I never really knew Leone but I met her around 40 years ago.  This is her song.

She shared her name with her car
Funny what memories do
Except for the end of her tale
Her name and her car were all that I knew

I really didn’t know her at all
But even now I remember her name
The thing thing that made her easy to recall
Her name and her car’s were exactly the same

Leone was a friend of my first wife
After we split up I didn’t see her any more
A Subaru Leone - was the car that she drove
They stopped making those cars in 1994

Not going to tell you the story
It’s really not my story to tell
It was all over the news 
If you’re old enough you’ll remember it well

She was lost like so many
Alone in the world all on her own
Of all the people there on that day
Leone was the only one that I’d ever known

Tragedies happen all of the time
Somewhere in the world every day
We've all felt the ripples in time
No matter how far away.

Big stories and small
All those beginnings and ends
Leone's story is a sad story
Mostly remembered by her family and friends

I weave the stairway to Heaven. 
You plant the trees, 
I dress them in blossoms and fruit. 

You craft the violin, 
I play the music of other worlds. 
You bring the golden cup, 
I pour in the nectar of Life. 
You raise the empire, 
I awaken its higher purpose. 

You start the Fire, 
I shape the flames into dragons. 
You build the temple, 
I call in the angels. 
You summon the stillness,

I Bring the Rainbow - symphonic metal

Being musician and artist "since ages", the last two decades and all the developments in digital music broadened my interests and activities in doing music actively and passively. Not being shy of any genre (OK, leave off some Punk and Extreme Metal derivates) I engage in composing, arranging, mixing and collaborating. 

Oh, and I do all my artwork and designs as well. And as you may notice I regard AI as a friendly helper.

Have a few looks & listens into my repertoire and eventually gain some insights. I'm always open for collabs if the the interests match ...
