I helps to follow instructions, even when they are given as voice record ... So here is my PLUS version to Beat Battles N°70 (over at Discord) -- now including the advised narration. Enjoy.

Goin' Glassy +

My entry to the ‘We Ain’t Here For Long’ remix. I used a lot (but not all) stems, took them apart, reshuffled a bit, replaced nearly all drums wit 'new' drums, and de-chipmonk-ed the vocals a bit. New BPM is 120.

Over at https://mix-challenge.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=722 runs the challenge "Chip away", promoting Synthwave as theme. This is my contribution.

Wynth Saved

Original remix contest is over at SKIO. 
Well, I made a "regular" version (of 2:46 min) first. Then the inherent hypnotic vibe "demanded" more, so this final extended mix evolved. Drums are widely but not completely exchanged, a synth got added and that initial FX. Everything else is from the given stems.

Echo (extended remix by APi)

Over at Discord's Beat Battles runs №72, titled "The Last Rites of Spring". Go there and participate as long as the challenge lasts ... The contents contain lots of stuff related to -eh- springs, that is mainly those metal things or even oldfashioned reverb units.
I dived into the many samples. And I decided to just&only work with them (my mantra ...). The only (probably weird) adaptation was to use some drum MIDIs for a Kalimba, the only spring instrument in my repertoire. 
So all "uh! that's no springy thing!" complaints should go to (poor?) niCKed ...

Nonresonant Springs

Over at SKIO is a new remix contest (https://skiomusic.com/contest/sodown-oblivinatti-tinnflame-remix-contest). 
I love the vocals and the pretty open structure of the track. So I emphasized on crucial elements, added fresh drums and a few gimmicks, et voilá, this is my try on this ...

Supernova

The April 2024 theme at Mix Challenge is "Scaffold" (https://mix-challenge.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=727).
I picked two chordstructures (one in F maj [A], one in D# min [B], four bars each), set up a simple song scheme of A repetitions, then some from B, repeat. Within that scheme the chords are used repeatedly while adding or substracting instruments. The four-bar basics are never altered. All voices are made via MIDI, just the percussions are from loops. [Updated version.]

Scaffold

At the Discord Beat Battles site BB74 is running. The title is "As free as you think you are". See there for further info ... I (again) took the challenge's contents (aka samples & things) and reassembled them, adding some extra percs/drums and rendering the MIDIs. Not more, not less. "Free", "Libre", "Frei" might be the guiding words, use & feel & spread them generously.

Over at Discord's Beat Battles run BB75 titled c_da_whole_truth. This is my contribution. (As usual) the track is assembled mainly by tamed samples from the pack, augmented by some drum elements and that intro voice (by udio).

Beat Battles (over at Discord) runs N°76, with plenty of samples and loops from member Destructive Intent. I selected a few, added more drums and three mallet samples.
BTW "HD" means "Haunted DeMansion" ... ;-)

Tales from the HD aka Red Rabbits

Over at Discord another Beat Battle has its round: BB77 Wonky World. Hosted by regular Guska, and the theme is: Play with different rhythms, go wild with the instruments, give us some truely free music.
As a notorious "use 'em samples 'n' not much else" compadre, I (again) assembled and treated (in this case: almost all) the samples from the host. And -eh- Guska just delivers perfect stuff ... 
Two outside drum loops assist, since the provided rhythm base appeared a bit thin.

Wondrous Wonky World

Probably I do too much music (but I certainly enjoy that!) -- anyway, it is adventurous and eventually educative to have an occasional look+listen to one's lesser used harddrive sections once in a while. 

This little chill tune was made ten month ago and now receives its due honors ...

Jaki's Ghost Chill

Skio's Zimmer90 remix: I dared to resequence the track, left some elements, added drums, percs and moog bass, FXed some stuff as well. I love 'em vocals! 

This extended mix adds some bars here and there to produce a kinda flowing EDM track. Or so.

I stripped the track off (most) fancy-but-not-needed musical extras, concentrating on the basics and the all-important vocals. All drums were replaced by new ones. Speed is slightly increased to 160 bpm.

Hurt Me Now

SKIO Music runs a remix contest in Oct 2024 for the track "Ticking Time Bomb". I merely took the provided vocal stems and redesigned everything else: drums, piano, bass, bells and choir. The tempo got reduced to 142 bpm.

Shine A Light

Being musician and artist "since ages", the last two decades and all the developments in digital music broadened my interests and activities in doing music actively and passively. Not being shy of any genre (OK, leave off some Punk and Extreme Metal derivates) I engage in composing, arranging, mixing and collaborating. 

Oh, and I do all my artwork and designs as well. And as you may notice I regard AI as a friendly helper.

Have a few looks & listens into my repertoire and eventually gain some insights. I'm always open for collabs if the the interests match ...
