It’s always an enjoyable experience to push the boat out and explore different release avenues, especially when we are able to link up with projects such as YosH, who for us have been one of the most outstanding imprints across the UK bass scene for the best part of the last 3 years. As far as collaborative releases go, there are few imprints we think that would be more fun to pull together.
Now, this latest collection of heaters is a perfect blend of what we love to represent here at 3000 Bass, combined with the forward thinking approaches of YosH, meaning we have been able to unleash 10 absolute heaters for you all to enjoy. The track-listing boasts some of the best up and comers from across both imprints, with the likes of P A R T I K L, AGLF, Hancock, DJ SALIS, Littlefoot, JCEE, DEAN, Gobbs, PENFLD, Hypedelic, and F.D.C all delivering varied and explosive original compositions.

With a forthcoming  album launch party en route at Ministry of Sound on the 23rd September and a bag of energetic creations on display across this fabulous compilation, the future is looking bright for both the 3000 Bass family and the YosH team.

Following on from the excitement of his long awaited return to the Southpoint team, Bushbaby is once again back at it on the production front, this time diving into a more garage-driven lane with a vibrant new roller entitled 'M1 Impulse' for us to enjoy.

He was only ever going to return in style as 'M1 Impulse' gives us a sumptuous sweep into the modernised garage sound, fusing classic, nostalgia-inducing organ chords with hard hitting 4x4 drum banks in spectacular fashion. With the success of 'Woman's Touch' a few years ago, this is an area of dance music that few in the business are able to contend with Bushbaby on, and it shows with the quality of this fantastic new single.

With more heavyweight rollers in the pipeline and a highly anticipated full scale return in 2023, the future looks extremely exciting for the Southpoint veteran.

Cr2 Records have been on something of an unstoppable run since it’s inception in 2004. established in July 2004 by Mark Brown (one half of the formally known as ‘M.Y.N.C. Project’), many of dance music's biggest names have featured on the imprint over the years, including Fedde Le Grand, Steve Angello, Nic Fanciulli, DJ Sneak, Thomas Gold, Deadmau5, Carl Cox, John Dahlback, Yousef, Nicky Romero and many more.

During that time it’s sub-label, Cr2 Trax has been steadily rising to prominance since it’s launch in 2015. Focusing very much on the names of tomorrow, artists including Second City, Low Steppa and Copy Paste Soul have enjoyed significant success with recent releases, and next in line to repeat the feat comes from Californian producer Dateless, who kicks things off with the label’s first release of 2017.

On his new three track EP Universal, Dateless explores the underlying principles of the bristling tech house sound with three textural, dancefloor-driven club tunes. The likes of Claude Vonstroke, Paul Oakenfold, Riva Starr and Marcus Nasty have all voiced their support, dropping him in their DJ sets all over the world. 2017 looks set to be an exciting year for Dateless, with Universal providing the perfect way to kick things off.

Having already started the year with a set at Holy Ship! alongside the Dirtybird crew, to mark the producers EP’s release today (27th January), we’re thrilled to premiere ‘This Is The Underground’, a peak-time offering with a deep bass line that possesses the perfect groove to keep you moving through the cold snap.
