Press: Auch ein gutes Jahr nach seiner Veröffentlichung tut das letzte Mollono.Bass Album das, was in seinem Titel zum Ausdruck kommt: Es bringt Menschen an den Musikmaschinen und auf den Tanzflächen zusammen. Stephan Zovsky gelingt es, die Vibes von Mandalo besonders raffiniert und feinfühlig in einen Remix zu kanalisieren. Mit mechanisch-metallischer Bassline und extrem hochauflösendem Sounddesign erzeugt er eine dunkle und kopflastige Atmosphäre. Dann krempelt er die Stimmung mit nur einem einzigen Piano-Akkord in ein Gefühl von Leichtigkeit und Wärme um. Auch Marc DePulse legt mit spärlich beleuchtetem, nächtlichem Groove los. Dabei spannen die Synthies und die Percussion einen schillernden Bogen in zurückliegende Sound-Epochen. Im vertrippten Klangbad trudeln actiongeladene Szenen eines Unterwasserfilms, dazwischen leuchten die digitalen Fragmente des Vocals von Rays wie Lichtstrahlen in einem tiefen, dunklen See. Rey & Kjavik betten die Stimme von Kuoko, um die herum sich der gefühlsbetonte Charakter von Dancer In The Dark kristallisiert, in den gemächlichen, symphonisch anmutenden Fluss ihres unverwechselbaren Sounds. More than a year after its release, the last Mollono.Bass album still lives up to its title: It brings together beautiful minds in front of music machines and on the dancefloors of this planet. Stephan Zovsky channels the intense vibes of Mandalo into a highly sophisticated and elegant remix. He kicks off with the metallic, mechanical hypnotism of his bassline and his signature hi-res sound designs, creating a heady twilight atmosphere. Then, a few minutes into the track, he flips the whole thing into a warm and uplifting affair using just a single piano chord. Marc DePulse also starts his dancefloor narrative in a dark, nocturnal setting. His synthies and percussions establish a vibrant connection to sound eras of the past. Amidst this tripped-out bath of sound we glimpse action scenes of an underwater film, while the digitally fragmented vocal of Rays cut through the stereo spectrum like light into a deep, dark lake. Rey & Kjavik embed the emotive voice of Kuoko, around which the song-like character of Dancer In The Dark evolved, into the slow, symphonic stream of their unmistakable sound. Sisko Electrofanatik was born in Rome. Since he was very young, he has been attracted to dance music, and with time he developed a strong interest in the various facets of house and electronic music. He then started working in multiple clubs in the Italian capital from a young age. His DJing style was always heavily steeped in electronic sounds, which is why he ended up being nicknamed “Electrofanatik”. After a few years of gigs, he started feeling the need to create a more personal sound.
So he began working on his own productions, expressing his creativity through the current underground style of electronic and techno music. His productions reached several top 10 charts, garnering acclaim and being played by internationally renowned artists: Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Sam Paganini, Alan Fitzpatrick, Pan-Pot, Amelie Lens, Chris Liebing, Markantonio, Umek and more...
He also collaborates with major labels such as Terminal M, Intec, Suara, We Are The Brave, JAM, Analytictrail, OFF, Phobiq, Codex, IAMT, Say What ?, Fe Chrome, Yoshitoshi, Bush, Autektone, Armada Music and more. In 2022 he won as Best Dj Techno Producer at Dance Music Awards Italy. Today, he continues to produce and play live at clubs and festivals around the globe with dedication and passion, championing his unique “Electrofanatik” style.
In addition he founded the GAIN RECORDS label, focused on a raw/melodic techno peak time sounds. He also works with the major brands of producers sample packs, music apps & softwares as sound designer and collaborate with FM/web radio stations and streaming around the world.
