For their second release, Oath welcomes Berlin–based producer Moomin; who brings forward a three-track EP entitled ‘The Snoofer’. Alongside three original tracks, UK producer Seb Wildblood also provides a remix for ‘For Willow'.

The title track, ‘The Snoofer’, wades through squelching percussion and deep swinging grooves as underlying synth-lines remain marching alongside locked kicks and fluctuating bass.

Arriving at ‘For Willow’, Moomin delivers a hazy, serene Hang Drum melody that tumbles and fades away, opening space for wispy pads and steady drum furrows.

Multiple label head and mainstay UK producer, Seb Wildblood, known for his distinct house style; offers up a soothing remix for ‘For Willow’. Steeped in warmth, the track sways back and forth from the blanket of pads to the syncopated rhythms of the instrumentation.

For ‘Breathe’, we see Moomin layering arpeggios and live drum cadences that seem to melt and mould together, floating and falling yet unwavering and firm.

Hailing out of the Rhythm Plate universe, Yse Saint Laur'ant is back with more of that fanciful house music he does so well. This latest drop on Vinyl Only leads in with 'Rivers', a beautiful warm-up track led by a powerful spoken word performance from an unknown source. 'Finality' is a smouldering, slow-build epic which finally releases in a burst of brass to get a big mass of bodies moving as the sunnier days hit and we head outdoors to dance. 'Your Man' is a dustier affair for the heads down crowd, 'Paradiso' slows things to a gentle murmur and 'Entrance To The Future' takes a sharp left turn into synthwave territory. Just a few months after premiering Body Contact by Sim Fossil, the frenchmen from Mister T. records are back with a 2nd digital release. With this new EP by the British trio, Desert Island Disco, they unveil 3 balearic House bombshells to light up dancefloors and festivals this summer.

Brought together by a shared passion for timeless dance music, the Desert Island Disco are a British collective hosting parties between London and Barcelona. After 4 successful self-releases, they are stepping up production efforts, launching their first major EP on Mister T. Records.

With the Fighting For Truth EP, the boys have produced 3 summery tracks that reflect the different moods of the balearic aesthetic. When Glistening is the most dancefloor-oriented track and Fighting for Truth maintains a similarly seductive vibe, Lina steps slightly apart. We still find the essence of dreamy house, with its groove and atmosphere but Lina merges broader electronic and afro influences of the Desert Island Disco trio. Lina takes the listener to a remote place with floating flutes, melodic percs and lush vocals that gives the final touch of the release Balearic.

Dekmantel   and   Worldwide   FM-affiliated   DJ   Esa takes  Daymé Arocena's  steady-swaying, lighters-in-the-air   moment   to   more   uptempo   territories.   Propped   up   by   an   ‘80s   drum   machine   bounce,   soft-dappled   synths swirl   around   an   extremely   well-executed   xylophone   melody.   As   a   set   of   remixes,   they   achieve   no   mean   feat:   flipping   a melancholy   ballad   to   an   all-out   party   banger.   On   Eleggua,   Esa   takes   a   more   esoteric   angle   –   a   slow-build,   synths-and-bleeps chugger,   Daymé’s   distinctive   exaltations   are   the   track’s   driving   force.   

This   3-track  12”   is   another   impressive   effort   from   the   South African   DJ   sure   to   feature   heavily   in   clubs   worldwide.
