### **Guest Mix by Seidenrausch – A Sonic Journey Through Time**

We are thrilled to welcome **Seidenrausch** to this episode of **Radio Electronica** – a passionate music collector, seasoned DJ, and radio host whose deep-rooted love for electronic music spans over two decades.

Seidenrausch, also known as Andy Köhler, took his first musical steps in the late '80s, when the fall of the Berlin Wall opened new cultural doors. With his "Begrüßungsgeld" he purchased the iconic *101* live album by Depeche Mode – a spark that would ignite a lifelong obsession with electronic sounds.

In 1999, after saving up during his civilian service, he bought his first pair of turntables. What followed was an intense journey of crate digging, tape swapping, and late-night discovery sessions, often in obscure record stores and hidden bars around Jena and Weimar. From early gigs in underground spots like the legendary Schottplatz and the intimate *Unex Nani Nani*, to Sunday sessions at *Caleidospheres*, Seidenrausch built his identity behind the decks.

His radio journey began in 2007 with *Bassic Drums*, a show dedicated to Drum & Bass, followed by *Sub Bassics*, diving deep into Dubstep. Since 2019, he hosts the *Underground Hour*, a free-spirited format where genre boundaries dissolve and musical curiosity takes over. Whether it's House, Breaks, Ambient, or Bass – his sets are sonic diaries of a restless explorer.

This exclusive mix for **Radio Electronica** is no exception. It’s a reflection of his eclectic taste, emotional depth, and the joy of sharing music without borders.

‘It's been a few years since I've recorded something but was recently inspired by the hot summer we’ve had here in the UK to put something mellow, bright and beautiful together which I wanted to make into a bit of a journey. Expect hazy jazz, stoner soul, balearic bites, tear jerkin 45’s & international rhythms. Recorded on 100% vinyl from my listening collection for extra warmth!’

Jonna has been playing music with soul for the past 20 years, from the City Fly basement parties @ Sophbeck (RIP) in his hometown of Leicester, to the festival circuit in Croatia to the dark underground clubs of Berlin and as far as Tokyo. He has also supported the likes of Roy Ayres (RIP), Children of Zeus, Benji B, Underground Resistance & MCDE to name a few! 

Jonna has released notable music on Lumberjacks in Hell, BBE, Shadeleaf Music, Flat White Records and his own imprint City Fly Records which has gained support from the likes of BBC 6 Music, Mr Scruff, Jimpster and Derek Carter to name afew. His last release 'Jus Move' featuring Javonntte with Marcellus Pittman & SoulPhiction (RIP) Remixes was featured in Juno Records Top 10 'Best Deep House Records’ of the year and was ‘Release Of The Day’ on Resident Advisor.

Recently, Jonna has been concentrating on his music promo service ‘Unveil PR’ and starting a family but is still an avid record collector and selector spanning many genres of the musical spectrum.

Dedicated purveyors of all that is good in house music, System of Survival are Pietro 'Bingo' De Lisi and Alex Carpentieri, and have been resident DJs at that bastion of underground Ibiza, Circo Loco, since the party first began over decade ago. Living, playing, producing and releasing material together since '89 in Italy, they were amongst the first DJs brought by promoters Antonio & Andreas, to reside in Ibiza at DC10, and have since mastered the main room, terrace and car park with equal ease. Their ability to carry a crowd, blend seamlessly between styles and fill in the gaps around the countless guests that they have supported is true testament to the role of a resident, and has led to them flying the Circo Loco flag throughout the years and across the globe. Apart from touring with the DC10 crew, Bingo and Alex have been steadily riding a wave of popularity, gaining momentum through their own headlining dates at the likes of Panorama Bar & Watergate, Berlin: Movement Detroit Festival, BPM Festival in Mexico, Verboten in New York or Fabic London. A commitment to style beyond fashion and a propensity to mix the old with the new, has brought them unwittingly to the forefront of the current trends in sound, making them as popular with other DJs as they are with their fans. Explains Alex, “Our sets have never really fit to one particular style or type, Bingo has a soul and funk background whereas mine is more Detroit or Chicago techno-inspired so when we play it's a real blend of the different styles, making something different completely, something new.” True aficionados, the boys, between them, boast a remarkable knowledge and back catalogue of music, across styles and genres, and nowhere is this more evident than in their productions. Their first longplayer album "Needle And Thread" is a both a reflection on their future vision of house, and a tribute to the sounds that have inspired them to this point. After a chance listening by Ellen Allien, it has been signed and released on Bpitch.

PREMIERE: Manuel Sahagun  'Mermelada ' [Fortunea Records]

As we've now settled in Iceland, it's the perfect time to introduce some key figures who have shaped the local house music scene—and who have played an important role in Intr0beatz’s journey through four-to-the-floor rhythms.
One such figure is Housekell, aka Áskell Harðarson, a cornerstone of Reykjavík’s underground house scene since 2009. Alongside his labelmates at BORG LTD, Housekell was instrumental in bringing Intr0beatz’s music to a wider audience. They featured his music on their show on The Underground Sessions, founded by DJ Caspa, who helped amplify the sound even further. The rest, as they say, is history.
Known for his raw, genre-blending style that fuses old-school house, UK garage, and bass-driven cuts, Housekell has released music on respected labels like Lagaffe Tales and Hustler Trax. As co-founder of BORG LTD, his DJ sets are a deep dive through classic grooves and leftfield gems, always keeping the dancefloor on its toes.

Raised in Cork, Ireland - London based producer Tree Threes has been steadily making a name for himself. Since his first release on French producer Phil Weeks’ ‘OG House Vol.1’ compilation, he’s gone on to win Beatport’s Producer Challenge, and have a string of EP releases with Morris Audio, Kolour, Funky Music Records, Scruniversal Records, Miura Records, the legendary Nervous Records and of course, House Salad Music. With deep beats transcending house, disco and broken beat, Tree Threes has had co-signs from the likes of Mark Farina, Fish Go Deep and Osunlade.
He makes his debut on the vinyl world with his release Decisions EP on @specialgrooves and this month his brand new release on 12", Love You Forever EP on @soulquestrecords,
flexing once again his production skills which were honed at Secret Sundaze school, combining disco, jazz and soul influences all under the Deep House umbrella.
