Welcome to episode #025 of microssesion which has been recorded by @francovargas one of our favorite artists from Brazil.

Franco Vargas loves the balance between light and dark, two opposites that represent the same thing. In his sets, the journey through this pendulum is noticeable, sometimes lighter and happier, sometimes darker and dissatisfied. Influenced by jazz, dub and hip hop, his digging focuses on crunchy rhythms and organic melodies without finding limits in a specific genre.

He cofounded Bioma (a prominent party in the city of Curitiba), produces Coletivo 4x4 (the biggest techno party in Curitiba), cofounded Harmonica Radio and is one of the partners in Harmonica Wax LTDA. Franco has also played in some of the main clubs and bars in the region, like Club Vibe, Cavan 77, Lo-Fi and Hangar T6, and has played alongside big names like Evan Baggs, Zendid, Vlad Arapasu and Coriesu.

Now Franco Vargas has had the pleasure to record our edition 025 of microsession and delight us with his music.

Bienvenidos al episodio #025 de microssesion que ha sido grabado por @francovargas uno de nuestros artistas favoritos de Brasil.

A Franco Vargas le encanta el equilibrio entre la luz y la oscuridad, dos opuestos que representan lo mismo. En sus sets se nota el viaje a través de este péndulo, a veces más claro y feliz, a veces más oscuro e insatisfecho. Influenciado por el jazz, el dub y el hip hop, su excavación se centra en ritmos crujientes y melodías orgánicas sin encontrar límites en un género específico. 

Es cofundador de Bioma (fiesta destacada de la ciudad de Curitiba), productor de Coletivo 4x4 (la mayor fiesta techno de Curitiba), cofundador de Harmonica Radio y uno de los socios de Harmonica Wax LTDA. Franco también ha tocado en algunos de los principales clubes y bares de la región, como Club Vibe, Cavan 77, Lo-Fi y Hangar T6, y ha tocado junto a grandes nombres como Evan Baggs, Zendid, Vlad Arapasu y Coriesu.

Ahora Franco Vargas ha tenido el placer de grabar nuestra edición 025 de microsession y deleitarnos con su música.

Dù mới bắt đầu chơi nhạc trong khoảng thời gian đại dịch, Khoa Bicycle đã nhanh chóng trở thành cái tên được cộng đồng người yêu nhạc điện tử Sài Gòn nói riêng và Việt Nam nói chung biết tới. DJ trẻ tuổi này gây ấn tượng bởi sự khiêm tốn với âm nhạc. Từ vị trí resident DJ ở một trong những club tên tuổi Sài Gòn – The Lighthouse, cho đến trở thành cái tên quen thuộc ở The Observatory, và giờ là chuỗi sự kiện độc đáo RamenCitiClub, Khoa cũng liên tục xuất hiện trong line-up ở những festival lớn nhỏ. Nhưng Khoa thừa nhận rằng, mình luôn học hỏi từ tất cả những cơ hội đã và sẽ đến.
