Aura Sonora returns with a second release to follow up the fantastic first one, this time it brings together two meticulous studio craftsmen, DYL & Tammo Hesselink. Their Moire Patterns EP kicks off with 'Pattern 1', a deep and rhythmic slice of rubbery techno that rides broken beats with atmospheric pulses up top. 'Pattern 2 slows down to a predatory crawl with icy pads making  a dystopian vibe then 'Pattern 3' brings a sense of mystic tribal ritual deep in some futuristic jungle and 'Pattern 4' closes down with more fantastically crafted, dubby, broken rhythms that are topped with organic percussion and almost impossible not to move to. Pure rhythm science brilliance.

It’s been a while since the last split EP on the label, but the wait is finally over: we present a striking combination of dry, functional modular techno and tech-infused dub cuts from none other than Berlin’s Endmodell and NYC’s Connor Wrong.
On the A-side, Endmodell delivers 0210, which wastes no time in setting the pace. A stomping techno rumbler with frantic synth shots and arpeggios, it just keeps rolling, leaving no one behind. His second track, 0704, is a breaky, melodic techno tool layered with mysterious vocals and searing noise FX. It floats forward effortlessly, providing the perfect transition to the more dub-driven B-side, where Connor Wrong’s tracks shine brightly.
Things kick off with Paws Up, creeping in with slightly dissonant chords before easing into a smooth, tech-dubby groove. Its already iconic “Put your Paws Up” vocal makes the track instantly memorable; a true roller that never loses its cool while keeping the groove alive. Closing the record is Pleroma Dub, the slowest and most heavyweight dub piece of the release. With jazzy melodies and a mesmerising low-end, it draws the EP to a deep and hypnotic close.
W133012 will be released on 10.10.2025 as a limited 25-copy vinyl edition alongside a digital version, accompanied by analogue photographic artwork by Philipp Roth.

Upstairs Downstairs is a Naarm/Melbourne-based promoter "specialising in wubs & dubz in the club", but now for the first time bringing said wubz to life as a label. 'Anti Militarist Dubs' is a 4-track EP by London-based, Italian-born producer Big Hands, featuring a track by Naarm's own bass heavyweight Pugilist.

'Stolen Land', premiered here, is that very track. 

Undeniably club-focused, sitting between the edge of techno & bass music, 'Stolen Land' has a depth and space that has come to be one of Pugilist's many calling cards. Twisted polyrhythmic grooves and distorted percussion swirl across dubbed out vocals & low-end growls. 

'Anti Militarist Dubs' releases in full as both a limited vinyl & digitally via Upstairs Downstairs' Bandcamp on Friday, November 14.
