Sous l'impulsion du webzine Alt_Riviera et du collectif Pacinist, le festival Easter In The Sun souhaite proposer à Nice, le temps du week-end de Pâques, une programmation musicale défricheuse et exigeante, qu'elle soit pop, rock, garage ou aux frontières de l'électronique. 
L'occasion de (re)découvrir la scène locale mais aussi de faire venir des musiciens qui n'ont pas pour habitude de traverser le Var. Enfin, le festival a pour objectif d'investir des lieux de diffusion inhabituels et de travailler en étroite collaboration avec le tissu associatif local.

Le premier festival du nom aura donc lieu du 3 au 5 avril 2015. La programmation sera annoncée début février.

Under the initiative of the indie music webzine Alt_Riviera and the musical collective Pacinist, the Easter in the Sun Festival aims at offering a musical program both bold and pioneering, embracing pop, rock, garage and even electronic music. Held in Nice during the Easter weekend, it will be the perfect occasion to (re)discover local bands and to welcome musicians who rarely have the opportunity to play in this part of the French Riviera. Last but not least, another goal of this festival is to take possession of unusual venues and to work closely with local associations.

The first edition of the festival will take place in Nice over the weekend of 3-5 April. The line-up will be announced in early February.

Fable Dust - Instrumental guitar music like a technicolor landscape in sound.

Fable Dust is Dutch guitarist, composer Niels Duffhues making and performing instrumental guitar music. His compositions have a filmic and minimalistic quality. He puts down a theme and improvises with the chords and melodies. He's a real soundmaker, using alternate tunings, sound effects, live sampling and field recordings (recorded in India and Vietnam). The music of Fable Dust is direct, hypnotic and deeply imaginative, like a technicolor landscape in sound.

Fable Dust's debute album 'The man who came out of the storm' will be released 11-12-2014 on Zesde Kolonne/ Zwarte Vleugels: digital, handmade cd, cassette and 180 gram vinyl.
