The APPOINTMENT program was started by the founders of Restoration Records and the founders of Live Jam Records. The program was developed in order to release forthright functional dancefloor oriented music on vinyl. The use of computers is not allowed in the development of the program. The recordings must be taken on the first take on magnetic tape. The studio sessions are time minimized, sounds and structures are stripped down to their basic essence; interferences, intraferences, mistakes, and noises cannot be separated from the real performance.Their highly acclaimed seminal tracks released on Live Jam Records led them to an official remix of Moodymann's "I can't kick this feeling when it hits".
