April Snow is a soul singer and songwriter who grew up surrounded by music. She began singing at 9 years old and by the time she made it through her teen years she had performed in over 100 stage shows. She performed as a contralto singer in the WLCE gospel choir, directed by award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Howard McCrary, which gave her the opportunity to perform with many talented singers, including singing back-up vocals for Chaka Khan.

April is commonly likened to Janis Joplin & Joss Stone, and currently lends her strong, soulful voice and songwriting talents to “Lookin’ for Trouble” blues band, based in Los Angeles, CA. April, along with all of the members of Lookin’ for Trouble Blues Band, was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame on 30 May, 2013.
