As the founder of Street Records, Apste bridges the worlds of music production and visual art, creating a platform for artists with a shared vision. His releases have topped the charts, with tracks like IX reaching Beatport´s Top 10 Indie Dance and earning recognition from Pete Tong’s Hot Mix on BBC Radio 1.

Born and raised in Malaysia and now residing in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. Roja is a DJ who seamlessly blends deep house, melodic techno, and indie dance. With a knack for mixing deep, dark grit with intricate melodies. 

Having performed at renowned venues like Gravity Club, OneSixOne and Ferdydurke. Roja draws inspiration from the likes of Dixon, Jimi Jules and Last Men On Earth. 

Currently, Roja has built a solid reputation as the co-creator behind This Side of Paradise, a Melbourne-based collective showcasing a gritty yet playful style, adding fluidity and reflecting a commitment to evolution and innovation in music.
