Born from a desire for thrashy, dirty metal, I created Parseltongued to be my outlet for all things gritty. Taking notes from Arch Enemy, The Haunted, Lamb of God, and others, I created a guitar driven, catchy, yet heavy project destined to be heard. Enjoy.

Aptameta is the solo project of Kevin Phelps. It is the culmination of the growth and progression of my musical journey thus far. 

My musical influences are vast and include Soilwork, In Flames, Disarmonia Mundi, Sybreed, Lyzanxia, Dry Kill Logic, Shadows Fall, Byzantine, Killswitch Engage, Devin Townsend and many more.

My goal is to share my music with everyone out there who is willing to lend an ear. My music has always been a personal outlet through which I hope others can find something personal to relate to. Embodied Records is the embodiment of our efforts to make music for us and by us. The one step that was always missing was getting that music beyond our own ears. To reach a broader audience we have created Embodied Records to be the means to spread our music to any and all who will listen.
Formed in 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona, Embodied Records includes bands from the minds of Kevin Phelps, Zach Lane, and Cameron Terrill. The first release on Embodied Records was Aptameta's debut album Subconscious Dialogue. Other bands include Negative Infinity, Innate Descent, Parseltongued, Diversion of the Embodied, and Astronaughty.
