‘Pieces’ sees Nocturnal Tapes significantly progress by introducing Tech-house influences, drawing inspiration from Caribou, The Presets and LCD Soundsystem. Whilst the track shines a different light on the band’s creative depth, the pop sensibilities and smart approach to songwriting still remain intact.

Art Pleasley & Thomas Shaw are back with another banger. It's called Ms. Fire and it's a slinky funk groove built out of vinyl crackle and guitar pedal dirt with a Hiatus-Timberlake breakdown and a face-melting QOTSA solo.
