Based on collaborative song writing in the early 80s and a few studio projects over the years. We are reunited to create new projects after taken a longer break.

Update:
In the summer of 2022, my dear old friend Mick and longtime musical companion died of cancer.

I have agreed with him that I will continue to run our site in his spirit. Our amazing, unique music will live on forever.

Pianist/songwriter from Austria  „SOLOPROJEKT“
Ines schreibt, spielt, singt und produziert ihre Songs selbst. 
Ihre Leidenschaft für Musik treibt sie an. Klavier gelernt hat sie bereits mit 10 Jahren, im klassischem Musikunterricht. Als Teenagerverliert sie jedoch, wie so viele, das Piano und auch die klassische Musik aus den Augen. 

Obwohl die Musik sie ihr leben lang begleitete, erfüllt sie sich erst spät ihren Traum der Musikerin. Das Leben kam, so wie sie sagt, dazwischen. Mit 40 entdeckt Ines ihre Leidenschaft für die Improvisation, dem Spielen nach Gehör und Gefühl, für Jazz und für Pop. Loslassen ist die Devise; Freiheit in der Musik finden. 

2012 gründete das, im Bezirk Kitzbühel bekannte, Cover Duett „The Pianolas“: Der erste Corona-Lockdown bremst viele Musiker_innen aus. Nicht aber Ines. Sie sieht den Lockdown als Chance sich musikalisch weiter zu entwickeln und neue Wege zu beschreiten: ihre ersten Songs für ihr Soloprojekt entstehen. 

Ines möchte Musiker_innen Mut machen: Es ist nie zu spät sein eigenes Ding zu machen.

DIE MUSIK

Die Singer/Songwriterin nimmt ihre Hörer_innen auf eine sehr intime Reise mit. Ihre Texte erzählen in eingängigen Melodien und auf anspruchsvollen Arrangements gebettet aus dem alltäglichen Leben – unmittelbar und hautnah. Die Palette reicht dabei von nachdenklich bis heiter. Sie besingt in „Nothing Lasts“ ihre Heimatverbundenheit ebenso, wie die Sehnsucht andere, wärmere Orte in der Ferne zu entdecken.
Ines liebt Harmonien, das Leben ist nicht nur schwarz weiss. In „Lose Myself“ singt sie davon, wie es für sie ist sich in der Musik zu verlieren, ganz darin abzutauchen bzw. einzutauchen: Musik öffnet eine neue Ebene, Musik erdet, Musik verbindet.

There is so much talent and variety here, and most of the people are pretty cool too. I love being part of this community. Listening to your music and being heard in return is enough.

Still reading? OK I'm gonna muse a bit. It's hard to fully convey how much this forum has meant to me. There are people I've never met that feel very much like old friends -- and in a very real way they are.
If I follow someone I make every effort to listen to and support their efforts. It's certainly not a transactional relationship but I do tend to limit my follows to people who engage in mutual listening and engagement. If you listen and leave a comment I always try to listen to *your* music when responding! If you follow at random without any feedback I hope you get something out of that too... ; )

We love that we can share our music, which we write, play and record, and we value any feedback we get. We also love to listen to the music you all make. There’s so much talent out there, it’s great that SoundCloud gives it a voice.
