“Enchantment” is a continuation of the instrumental fusion niche that Jonny Tobin has been carving a sound out within. Opening with an abstract set of riffs and chord progressions, the song eventually builds into a bouncy groove, with catchy and playful melodies. A soaring extended synth solo closes the second half of the track and builds to a satisfying conclusion.

AQUAFREDDA is the newest soul of retro funk and disco of Gabriele Acquafredda. 
Born in southern Italy in 2000, Gabriele grew up playing trumpet and bass before diving into electronic music production at just 13.
He first made some noise as KIDO, releasing his debut EP in 2018 on Nameless Records, working with worldwide artists like Not For Us (now Tananai), Drew Harvey, and Laura Sjin. In 2020, his remix of Kharfi’s "Don't Waste My Time" (released via Ego Music) marked a turning point, as he shifted from EDM to the grooves of the '70s and '80s.
In 2022, he introduced AQUAFREDDA, a project dripping with vintage vibes, releasing his new EP "Mr. Groove" via Bauxite Label. Now, with his 2025 release "Get Back Home EP" on The Sleepers Recordz — preceded by the singles "Is This Fire" and "Back To You" on a limited edition 7" vinyl — AQUAFREDDA blends R&B, Disco, and Nu-Funk into a fresh, timeless sound. The EP features collaborations with Apulian talents like Gaia Voice, Ronin, and Raphael Camardella, recreating vintage vibes and giving new life to funk and disco music.
