French duo Laval returns to Pär Grindvik's Stockholm LTD imprint, 'Origins' is taking place as a follow up to their well-acclaimed 'Cold Hearts' album, released early 2018. Laval has had a brilliant rise since surfacing on Stockholm LTD in 2017, now they serve up the label's last release of the year. 

'Origins' is a steady three tracker in true Laval aesthetic, showcasing the duo's skills of blending experimental and heavy rhythm patterns with beautiful atmospheres and melodies. Laval's music is for sure connecting the dots between dance music and the listening realm.

The Gate of Life is an immersion into a 2D world. Beginning in a place of sorrow, melancholy and reflection, the tale is a guided quest of self-discovery. The sombre introduction flows into an introspective interlude, igniting the protagonist with a spark of internal energy and the determination to persevere with the pursuit of strength. Through the power of volition emerges a tranquil conclusion. 

In his debut studio album, The Gate of Life, 747 showcases a new maturity to his productions, implementing intricate synth work and his innate sense of musicality to present eleven original compositions and a masterful cover of Giorgio Moroder's 1978 theme. Emotive pads and serene soundscapes come together to create an hour-long wistful dream, suspending the listener in a euphoric haze. With a techno mainstay, The Gate of Life branches into the realms of classical, ambient and cinema to create a musically cohesive and sonically pleasing work of art. With acidic wisps and a metallic aura the album brings out a familiar feeling within an innovative masterpiece.

747 is a DJ and producer from Vancouver. Best known for his acidic contributions to Aquaregia, he continues to impress with each and every release. Like his hypnotic DJ sets, his tracks are constantly evolving with a mixture of lush pads, dreamy soundscapes, and the sonically pleasing sound of the 303. Inspired by the sounds of Berlin, Detroit, and the acid legends, his sound is high-fidelity yet old-school, uplifting yet melancholic, a journey with no destination.

His most notable release, the widely acclaimed Aurora Centralis EP, immediately brought 747 to the forefront of the acid techno scene, while the title track captivated floors around the world. He saw a quick rise the following year with his eight-track Paleo series on Aquaregia. The acidic collection was well received and built a loyal following for his particular brand of melancholic acid, leading him to bookings at some of the world’s most renowned clubs including Fabric and Rex.
