Aquaregia presents Acid Analects, a new VA series showcasing the many facets of acid. Volume 1 brings a club-oriented selection of four tracks, each masterfully produced by a global array of artists. Italian producer Nicola Dal Sacco opens the release with an old school squelching 303 workout in 'Calorica'. On the A2, Berlin-based Elad Magdasi presents 'Robotricks', a dark and hypnotic trip embellished with acid wisps. Introducing the B-side, the Canadian, 747, brings a fast and furious acidic bassline in his track 'Domain Expansion'. And to close the release, Australian mastermind, DJ Huntsman, finishes with an ultra speedy and euphoric psytrance heater in 'Planet Psygon'.

Paul Hauck and IGLO teaming up for their first collaboration coming in a 7-tracker-EP ‚Blurred Fusion‘ with 3 remixes by Alarico, TWR72 and Rove Ranger. With both being quite new to the techno scene, they already can look back on a lot of releases on either labels like Akronym, BCCO or Bomphcast or self releases.
This EP brings together the best of both, uniting a unique imagination of sound. Pauls-typical raw vocals and ruthless lowend grooves meet more IGLO-like deep/hypnotic sound design and weird textures to generate an already by prominent DJ’s strongly supported EP. The Remixes will give the listener a very strong impression of what the remixers are about. Alarico getting unconvential and weird as always finding crazy swings to make tracks standout, while TWR72 just tears down the roof. Ending this EP with maybe one of the biggest summer tracks this year, Rove Ranger brings his Dub-influence on the EP. This will be the start of more collaborations for them, giving you a taste of what is more to come in the future.

The stars rarely align between Gregor Tresher and Petar Dundov's hectic schedules. But when they do, techno planets collide with explosive results. This earth-shattering production partnership began in 2011 with the still-stunning "Duo Tone" EP on Music Man. A trio of releases have followed during the last three years, including the almighty "Superconductor" on Cocoon 100 last summer. Fresh for 2014, the German/Croatian pact goes next-level with this firing slab of rich, majestic techno on Gregor's own imprint Break New Soil. Living up to its name, "Taurus" ignites with bullish precision. Pummelling with a classic palpitating bass and kick roll, percussive elements are gradually introduced before the shimmering riff enters the fray. Tingling with every twist and tweak, this will raise hairs on the back of every neck with a ten mile radius. For added measure, the duo have also included the Chord mix. Galvanising the same rhythmic mischief with full focus on the undulating bass, it's slippery, slinky and drenched in drama. A perfect DJ tool to tease in with the original mix, or a heads-down mission into the darkest corners of the dancefloor: this version ripples and ruffles in equal measure. Finally we hit "Flux". Taking a slightly softer, more melodic approach, here we find Gregor and Petar weaving a tight web of rushy arpeggios and subtle rhythmic keys. Arranged with detailed dynamism, every element spirals and surges to create full crowd meltdown. A truly special release, we can't wait until Gregor and Petar's schedule stars align again!

Bakke is presenting a carefully selected collection of progressive dance music from nine top-notch producers. 

Bakkelit 2.1 is the second album release from the recently re-born Spiral Trax. The album has been compiled by Swedish DJ Bakke who over the years has been a familiar face behind the decks at many great events such as the Vuuv Experience, Fusion Festival and Tshitraka Project to name a few. 

First out is the Perfect Stranger remix of Out of the Blue by Morax, one half of the Israeli tech-trance-duo Triac. Fellow Israeli Perfect Stranger has already released two albums on Iboga as well as numerous other releases. Second is a collaboration between our own DJ Bakke and Agent 17 who is no less than S-Range in disguise, one of the first artists to release an album on Spiral Trax back in the day. Tomic is a rather new German artist that we have been into for quite some time. You can be sure to hear a lot more of his groovy progressive sounds on Spiral Trax in the future. Tomic is followed by progressive maestro SBK who is one of the most well-reknowned artists in the scene with a number of extremely successful releases behind him. Happy Rainbow is one of the first tracks to appear since his last album release Borderline in 2004. SBK is also one half of the progressive house super-duo Krueger and Coyle who are currently busy recording their new album. Next is Set or Reset; a kick-ass tune by Gaudium, another Swedish act who had their debut release with Spiral Trax. So did female dj/producer Paulina Cewe who had her first release on the previous Bakkelit compilation. Her unique tech-trance tune is followed by Solar Fields who is not only presenting us with one of his rare progressive productions, he is also the man behind the next Spiral Trax compilation that will be out before the summer. After four absolutely amazing albums on Ultimae he has compiled the third volume in our chill-out series Ease Division. Last but not least comes Denis Alexander a Russian producer living in the UK who is also known for his releases as In R Voice and Den Kozlow.
