Been feeling a bit down lately so I made a song in a few days. Made this purely to calm down and stop worrying about myself. I'm going to be fine.

Recorded straight off of BGB and edited a bit with Audacity. Pretty sure a DMG wouldn't be able to run this without slowdown. Too many tables.

Personally, I think this version is loads better than the lazy approach Nintendo took to it.  If you listen closely, you will realize that their version is actually polyphonic (the notes overlap for about point one seconds), as if the game uses a kind of MIDI like SoundFont.  In fact, that might honestly be the case, what with how changing from the modern to the eight bit version of the same song in the soundtrack menu audibly turns on the eight bit and fades that out instead of fading out the modern one and then playing the classic variant, and even vice versa!

I made it with a theme in mind, for a fictional hero, "electroman"
that i made up to go along with the song. so this is the theme to a
main character of a game that does not exist
