Prince Wadada was born in Úige city, a province in north of Angola. He fell in love with Jamaican music, at a very young age in Luanda, where his artist adventure began strongly influenced by Reggae Dancehall and Rap from the 90s. He was an important part of the beginning of the Hip Hop movement in the Angolan capital.
In 2000 he traveled to Portugal and established himself on the stages of festivals in this country with his band and Soundsystems. He shared the stage with musicians such as: Big Youth, Gentleman, Lee Scratch Perry, Anthony B, One Love Family, Eduardo Pain, General D, Phathar Mak, Kussundolola, Gabriel o Pensador, Bonga and Damian Marley. He recorded several albums in the studio and today he works as a music producer for his own label: Ras Kitchen Production.
