Music Weeklies this week was about taking a new genre and making it sound old. Well, I used my oud I just got and a bunch of other acoustic instruments and made a joke trance song about Nanni's complaint tablet to Ea-Nasir from 1750 BCE found in Ur.

Jay3m and NorthernDraw return with their 3rd collaborative EP– Quid Pro Quo– showcasing a torpedo of portamento synths and half time drum patterns. Cooked up over a hot summer weekend of playing Mario and drinking cool modelos in an undisclosed studio somewhere in the bay area. The seven instrumental tracks showcase a rapport between a multitude of genre-influences and west coast head-nod camaraderie, pairing together perfectly like reposado tequila and shrimp avocado tacos. Once again the duo comes together to show us that they are in it for the long run, always ascending with no crescendo zenith in sight.
