After debuting for the first time at this year’s We Are FSTVL, producers/DJs MK & Lee Foss and singer/songwriter Anabel Englund have announced their first official release together as Pleasure State. Coming out on Jamie Jones’ and Lee Foss’ label Hot Creations, the group announce the highly anticipated release of 'Ghost In The System’ on December 1st.

Pleasure State is a project driven by the group’s unusual implosive chemistry along with a vision to create melodic and impassioned house music. Their style is dark and sensual with haunting vocals, pulsing beats and uncensored subject matters. Successful in their own right, MK, Lee and Anabel bring a wealth of talent, experience and creativity to this new and exciting group and Pleasure State acts as a natural extension of who they are as individuals.

After Lee Foss met the intriguing Californian talent Anabel Englund, he brought her into his existing collaboration with house heavyweight MK, literally igniting sparks between the group, whose union was formalised with the stand-out track 'Electricity' for Hot Creations.  Pleasure State have carved out the time all over the world to get together and create, and they have now delivered this exceptional EP.

The evocative ‘Ghost In The System’ is inhabited by a sinister presence created by Anabel’s chilling vocal which is accompanied by a bouncing bass and distorted rap and the result in a full on haunting of an atmospheric dance track. The EP features the politically charged and hip-hop influenced dance record ’Subject Matter’ and a 12 minute remix of ‘Electricity’ from Detroit techno legend and Grammy award winner, Carl Craig.

'Just Escape' will be the Glasgow producer's first EP on the label, with more to follow, and he's introduced himself with a delicately crafted piece of house swimming in beautiful string work and Daudi Matsiko's crisp vocals.

Liverpool based DJ and producer James Silk releases “Talk Dirty”, his first single since signing to 3 Beat. 

With a fat, bouncing, bassline and soulful vocal this is deep and funky house at its best. An infectious, rolling belter, “Talk Dirty” been getting a lot of love in clubs across the country and is all set to be the soundtrack to your summer.

Silk burst onto the electronic music scene in 2012 with floor-filler “Can’t Wait” in 2012. The track climbed to number 2 on Beatport’s Deep House chart and was played in clubs and on radio across the world. He has since been featured on Pete Tong’s U.S radio show. He’s also a big hit on Beatport. 

Always fresh and full of groove, Silk’s cuts have been released on labels such as Defected, Get Physical and OFF Recordings. As well as Pete Tong, Silk counts the likes of Sasha, Laurent Garnier and Groove Armada as fans of his music.
James has coupled chart success with DJ gigs across the globe, from the super cool venues of Berlin to the cubs of Moscow and Sydney. 2015 sees James continue his success - signing to 3 Beat and releasing his very own imprint ‘Heyo’.

Following up our exclusive give away of his bootleg of Whitney Houston's Love Will Save The Day, earlier in the year, the UK DJ and producer Archie B has now offered us up this fantastic mix to showcase his skills behind the wheels of steel. 

Accessible without betraying his influences, Archie's blend of garage straddling house has us predicting big things, and we're not the only ones tipping him for the big time with efforts landing on CR2 and Eastside Recordings.  Much like with his productions, Archie's mix flirts with a wide array of the various styles and sounds that constitute the broad house landscape, placing tracks from Dusky, Steve Lawler and Mak & Pasteman alongside efforts of his own.

Dutch maestro Ferreck Dawn is about to release ‘Heaven Sent’ – a deeply funky, dance track that has all the markings of a summer smash. 

The track combines old school house drums with warm synths and a melodious bassline then ramps up the anthem factor with an infectious female vocal.

‘Heaven Sent’ builds on the success of Ferreck’s huge collaborations with Redondo ‘Love Too Deep’ – their first hit which charted in the UK and racked up over a million YouTube views in six months - and ‘Something Else’. Ferreck recently had a solo smash ‘Another Day’ featuring Bishop.

Hot on the heels of their incredible release - Don't Look Back, featuring Beckii Power - Sweet LA are back with yet another legendary collaboration. The South coast duo have enlisted producing talent Michael Murica for this summertime smash, Wrong, with home-grown singer/songwriter Jolene on vocal duties. 

An addictive combination of playful beats and ethereal, synth based hooks, the producers' original cut is a truly stunning production, with Jolene's sultry, soulful tones working perfectly with the melodies.

Onto the remixes, and first up we bring you man of the moment Rich Pinder, fresh from his Traxsource number one. Pinder absolutely smashes it with a ground shaking beat from the offset, and succeeds in giving the track an injection of peak-time energy, whilst still preserving Jolene's impeccable sound.

Electrik Cat rounds things off, with a tech-house take on the chilled original. Like Rich Pinder, the London born producer picks up the ante, adding a main-room beat and looping Jolene’s raspier, powerhouse top-lines to create this tougher, club-ready sound.
