Retro-Active Pt. 1 Remixed, as the title implies, is the remix album of Keiji Yamagishi's critically acclaimed debut Retro-Active Pt. 1: store.bravewave.net/album/retro-active-pt-1 

Keiji Yamagishi is a Famicom-era pioneer and has composed music for some of the most beloved gaming franchises, notably Ninja Gaiden, Tecmo Bowl, Captain Tsubasa, Dynasty Warriors and Gitaroo Man. In this remix album, he's joined by comrades Chipzel (of Super Hexagon), Kozilek (Nuclear Throne), ABSRDST, and other friends to squeeze out the potential of the original album's melodies.

"Fryderyk Chopin's Psychaedelic Technicolor 'Lectro-Funk-Core Superstarlit Ultra-Throwdown on Op. 28 No. 4" was written for the six piano superstar group Grand Band and was commissioned by John Metcalf for the Vale of Glamorgan Music Festival in Cardiff, Wales, May 23, 2017.  The world premiere was given in St. David's Hall in downtown Cardiff on May 23rd.  Special thanks to the incredibly talented members of Grand Band, Lisa Moore, Vicky Chow, Izzy O'connell, Blair McMillen, Paul Kerekes, and David Friend, and to John Metcalf and Jennifer Hill of the festival for organizing and providing the commission and putting on such a wonderful concert!

I haven't been able to work as much as I'd like on this project this year. Hoping to change that soon!
