For our 46 episode, we have the pleasure to announce a good friend and incredible artist, Gri. Born in Piatra Neamt, Romania, Georgian also known as Gri discovered electronic music at the age of 14.

In the years since Gri has mostly focused on productions with releases on labels such as Mulen Records, Act-Fact Records, Tzinah Records, Mood 24 Records, Inwave and more.

Currently based in London, Gri continues to promote the Romanian sound alongside fellow artist Gabriel Chiper and Dragos Ungureanu.

With a very original style, Gri is influenced by the works of Ricardo Villalobos, RPR, and Ion Ludwig. His sound glides between minimal to techno with ease but we will let his podcast do the talking.

Simply Red

With his first piece entitled Oz, Ichi offers a rich creation endowed with remarkable movement and organic intensity in the groove: the sensation is reminiscent of perfectly mastered field recordings, in contrast to an atmosphere suspended in time.
The second piece, Acchoor, stands out with a round bass and superb sound synthesis. A cacophony of abstract noises confronts these two elements, creating a stunning sensory experience.
With Odnacidrp, Ichi delivers a powerful piece with a thick, rubbery bass, immediately plunging the audience down the white rabbit hole, with a dark, almost terrifying atmosphere.
The last piece, R-E, is a textured atmospheric walk, with a feeling of gusty winds from another world.
Therefore, Ichi offers a great dark minimal EP, at the paroxysm of abstraction and dance floor ready.

Avec sa première pièce intitulée Oz, Ichi propose une riche création dotée d’un mouvement remarquable et d’une intensité organique dans le groove : la sensation fait penser à des enregistrements de terrain maitrisés, en contraste avec une atmosphère suspendue dans le temps.
Le deuxième morceau, Acchoor, se distingue avec une basse ronde et une superbe synthèse sonore. Une cacophonie de bruits abstraits vient confronter ces deux éléments, créant ainsi une expérience sensorielle déroutante.
Avec Odnacidrp, Ichi livre un morceau percutant avec une basse épaisse et caoutchouteuse, plongeant immédiatement l’auditoire dans le terrier du lapin blanc, avec une atmosphère sombre, presque terrifiante.
La dernière pièce, R-E, est une marche atmosphérique texturée, avec une sensation de rafales de vent provenant d’un autre monde.
Ichi propose donc un EP minimal sombre, au paroxysme de l’abstraction et prêt pour le dance floor.
