Berlin-based and Perlon regular wonderkid Felix Hk join our InSession mix series with a 3-hours long mix extracted from his opening set at SOLID AM showcase that took place at Zenner few weeks ago. An impeccable selection of tracks that set the tone for the 12+ hours marathon event that featured Ricardo Villalobos, Laidlaw, Sonja Moonear among others.

After an outstanding set at Get Perlonized in Bucharest last year, we set our eyes on Felix and this mix is only anticipating his debut with us, taking place in few months at Gottwood Festival 2023, where he will open our stage on Saturday 10/06

this is the set liveset I played on the 4d system in amsterdam during my residency in April 2014. 
Equipment used: MFB Tanzbär, Clavia Nordrack2, TeenageEngineering OP-1, Arturia Microbrute and AbletonLive as master clock, sampler and midi sequencer. 

Everything on the 4D sound was tweaked by hand in real-time, as well as the whole arrangement. I preprogrammed some chords and grooves on my machines though. 

The 4D System is an advanced spatial sound system and the set is binaural (also called dummy head) recorded - in order to get an idea of how it sounded you need to use your headphones. 

For the full binaural experience, I made the lossless AIFF file available for download. Please note that the download is over 1 GB in size.

Andre Schmid and Philippe Egger have been masters of the minimal deep house sound since 2006 with the release of the Mountain People project, but their collective history runs deep, with Andre behind the Rozzo pseudonym since 1994, and Philipe the man behind Serafin since the turn of the millennium.  As Mountian People, the duo have gelled together to produce some amazing house music on their Mountain People label, and also DJ together, including a spot at Ushuaia last Summer with Luciano.
