DJ Caro is here to tell a story. The Brooklyn-based DJ and artist brings their background in songwriting into their sets, delivering catharsis to dancefloors through narrative-focused selections. As a member of Oakland/San Francisco DJ collective STRAPT, they aim to meld the West and East Coast club communities by throwing underground parties in both cities.
   Discovering unique sonic harmonies in different genres separates DJ Caro as a tastemaker. Blending East Coast club, breaks, jungle and footwork, the selector finds comfort in creating space. For DJ Caro, it's all about giving the crowd room to breathe and feel something. Their astute intuition and evocative sonic storytelling on the decks are inimitable, placing them on bills with the likes of SOPHIE, Shygirl, Regal86, Machinedrum and Bambii.

Part 2 of the early Digital releases - all remaining tunes not featured in the first mix. Not much more to say in addition to my thoughts on the first session, just wicked, epic, deep atmospheric jungle produced only as Digital knows how. Surgical beat work, incredible spacey pads and subsea B-lines. 
Enjoyed putting these two mixes together - definitely helped me appreciate a few of the B sides and loose experimental tunes a whole lot more after all these years (Lost and Mystery etc.). Some of these tunes went a bit over my impatient young head when I bought them so it's nice to have them aired out in full for repeated listening and appreciation :)
