Recorded in a garage this is raw production, emotional frustration of life in Northern UK, high energy, near the knuckle sentiments, harsh reality of life. 

A man from Nazareth, aged thirty-two,
Knocked on my door with Deliveroo.
Gold chains swinging, no front tooth —
I said “Mate, is this some kind of truth?”
He smiled, said nothing, just passed me my grub,
While I sat in my socks lost in the revolving hub.
No heat, no job, just on the benefit line —
I get means-tested — he gets a shrine.

It ain't him I blame, it's the systeem,
Where I’m chasing toast and they get cream.
They say "new life" — I’m still stuck
With bailiffs knockin’ and zero luck.

Where's my golden fleece?
Where’s my benefits release?
My dad fought for this, n' we bleed and sigh —
I'm not the only one to cry!
Oy, where's my M.P.?
They say “wait and see” —
No vote worth kissin’,
Well guess what? 
There's a load of it missin’!

But they built new flats on my old front step.
I get forms and red tape loops,
While others float in to welcome groups.
And again — them I ain’t blamin’,
But the anger is raw and I'm flamin'!

Many years paying my tax ,
Now I’m a digit in the statistics.
I pray each night to empty air —
All the way from Nazareth to a comfy chair!

Where’s help for the guy who don’t scream?
You think we’re racists? 
Nah, we're just broke.
We’re the punchline to every joke!

Just crumbs in my lap

He smiled again — like he knew.
Gave me a wink, and off he flew.

Still waitin’ to fix my draughty window.
