FALLEN JOY is a Death Metal band, founded in 2008 in Paris, offering an epic melodic musical universe.

Since its creation, the band began to do its debut on stage, playing their own songs to an enthusiastic audience constantly increasing on every gig played.

Faced with all these positive returns, FALLEN JOY recorded in October 2009, at Sainte-Marthe Studio (Paris), its first record "Order To Die", mixed and mastered by Guillaume Mauduit (Tank, Zuul FX). This first self-produced demo released in January 2010 in Europe, was acclaimed by both critics and fans.

Thanks to such success, the Canadian "Spread The Metal Records" label approached FALLEN JOY for an U.S. and Canadian release of their EP "Order To Die" in January 2012.

The FALLEN JOY adventure continues and the band has recorded their new album "Inner Supremacy" at the FH Studio not far from Nancy.
This first LP, mixed and mastered by Anthony Chognard (Smash Hit Combo), will be launched late 2013 still with the label "Spread The Metal Records", but this time for a worldwide release!

Despite several lineup changes since its beginning, FALLEN JOY has never stopped moving forward and developing its musicality. A perseverance that enabled them to play alongside MORBID ANGEL, KATAKLYSM, CRYPTOPSY or also BLACKGUARD.

J'ai commencé par mixer avec un synthé et deux postes K7...
J'ai ensuite fait de l'harmonica, puis de la basse, dans plusieurs groupes de rock, de funk et de musique expérimentale...
J'ai crée plein de morceaux sur ordinateur en midi, puis j'en ai refait certain en audio avec de vrais instruments...
Je me suis mis à la batterie et ensuite au piano...
Aujourd'hui je continue à créer des morceaux dans mon home studio qui est plus home que studio et je rêve de reconstruire un groupe et de faire plein de concert....

I started mixing with a little keyboard and two K7 tape...
I learned the harmonica and after the bass that i played in several rock, funk and experimental music bands...
I created a lot of song on computer in MIDI, I redid some of them with real instruments ...
I started learn the drums and the piano ...
Today I continue to create songs in my home studio that is more home than studio and I dream of rebuilding a group and make full concert ....

Biography

Born in Paris in 2005, the CERVIKAL band has contributed to the movement of the hardcore scene in Paris during 6 years. After years of rehearsals at the famous Studio Luna Rossa, their music became a mix of hardcore and death metal influenced by drum'n'bass, jazz and grindcore. They recorded their first demo at Studio DGD and an EP 4 tracks at Studio Hybreed (7th Nemesis, The Arrs, Carnal Lust, Onesta, Hardside...). Regular organizers of "La Fête de la Musique" on the Boulevard Saint Germain in Paris, they also participate in dozens of concerts in Paris and Ile-de-France (La Miroiterie, Canal 93, Capitol Studios, Le Reservoir, Le Rocher, Le Pixi...). 
The quartet shared the stage with many talented groups such as: L'Esprit du Clan, As They Burn, Tri(balles), Pledge Of Silence, Selfhate, Hackdown, Remote, Grub, Frrt... An adventure that will leave marks!
