In many styles of traditional music such as Bluegrass, folk, and in styles such as Rockabilly and Big Band and Bebop jazz, the bass role is filled by the upright bass.

ARC Samples is an independent organisation founded by composer Angus Roberts-Carey, with the purpose of creating unique sample libraries that are easily accessible and manipulated by the music community. Although simple in concept, ARC tries to create samples that have endless, unpredictable possibilities for the users- a pandoras box of textures and timbres that have the ability of throw out random sparkles of brilliance and intrigue.

All money made from the sale of ARC Samples will be directly funding future product development carried out by young, and aspiring artists. Any profit will also go towards paying for equipment costs and further human and website affiliated resources. Thank you for your support.
