BIO
I first began mixing in 1992 mainly at after club parties in Pembrokeshire, only having a few records at the time, but this soon grew into an obsession spending most of his spare time and money in records shops. He eventually bought a set of second hand SoundLab belt drive decks and an old Gemini mixer from a mate and so it began! After eventually saving up enough money and purchasing his Technics SL1200s, he was well and truly hooked and began building a nice little record collection along the way.
My major influences when I first started were my favourite DJs like Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Anthony Pappa, Underworld and Leftfield. More recently as I am delving into the production side of things, I take more inspiration from my favourite artists like Ruben Karapetyan, Lee Softley, Enertia-Sound, Ewan Rill, Dimitry Molosh and Brent Lawson
DJing has always been my passion. Since competing in several DJ competitions during lock down, I have taken on several key roles. I am now a Director and Resident DJ at AATM Radio hosting shows with guest DJs from all over the world. I host a monthly DJ residency on Saturo Sounds called Synergy, a residency with Transmission Lost which focuses on events and radio too. I have also got another residency with DJs Inbox which is my forum for me to also do charts, reviews, features, and my latest initiative “Embark” program for upcoming DJs whereby we promote them and get them sets on various radio stations to boost their careers. Italian dj and music producer, Dorian Muniz aka AMP (acronym for A Mood Project) in console for LTU session podcast with his solo project. During the years Amp has experimented a wide spectrum of music, with various productions and releases of different genres releasing on labels like Dance and Love (IT), Elastica Records (IT) or G-Mafia records (BR) and podcast for both national and international radios, before establishing his sound on techno music and his surroundings.
Lots of influences spacing from deep to tech, from prog to a fully emotional melodic techno, for a set full of dynamics and eclectic sounds. An unconventional begin with a natural crescendo bring listener to a fresh central part with a housy taste. Immediately after melodies, atmospheres and rich sounds make the journey evolve on powerful rythmic tracks until set end where closure reminds unconventional feelings from the first song.
