Almost a decade after its original debut, Affani returns with a bold reimagining of his 2016 deep Afro house gem, 'Gnawa.' The 2025 Remix breathes fresh life into this spiritual groove, fusing modern club production with the ancient rhythms of Morocco's Gnawa tradition.

The original track, praised for its hypnotic fusion of deep groove and traditional North African textures, carved a unique space in the underground. With this remix, Affani releasing under his SprnG alias elevates the sound with tighter percussion, deeper low-end drive, and a more immersive, atmospheric arrangement built for today's global dancefloors.

'Get Real' is the new project from legendary producers, Green Velvet & Claude VonStroke.
The pair, hailing from Chicago and Detroit, headed out on the road together for a string of shows at the tail end of 2015. Get Real was born and VonStroke was soon heading to Green Velvet’s Chicago studio to work on new music.  The result of that trip is the debut Get Real EP featuring two slices of amazing future funk from two creative giants.

Back in 2015 the bearded Dirtybird Player, Will Clarke, needed a secret weapon for some of his festival gigs for the Summer. He sampled the ghetto house legend, DJ Funk, who made an appearance on Dirtybird back in 2013 for the Kill Frenzy smash, “Make That Booty Clap”. Will passed it on to the rest of the Dirtybird crew, and before we knew it the track took a life of it’s own and quickly became one of the most requested tracks, even to this day. 

Will ended up linking with DJ Funk himself, and they turned what was a quick bootleg into a full blown collaboration and Ladies & Gentlemen, “Booty Percolatin’” is officially here and our Debut Transmission for today!

For 15 years I’ve been releasing two track EPs with a crazy A-side and a much deeper or weirder B-side. Showing a range of sound has always been very important to me. My studio assistant and friend, Wyatt Marshall collaborated with me on the B-side and also gets credit for turning me on to modular synthesis which is used considerably on both tracks.

Introducing the dirtybird players compilation, the follow-up to last years "Hatched" comp which was picked as the compilation of the year in DJ mag. It's 14 original tracks split into two releases and featuring up-and-comers and old schoolers on the label. The musical direction of dirtybird is always evolving but that sense of good times is always there in the background, keeping you smiling and dancing in your house parties, giant clubs and car stereos around the world.

Part one of the players comp is totally stacked with killer trax from veteran db artists Justin Martin & Ardalan, Kill Frenzy & Nick Monaco, Munnibrotherz, and J. Phlip. In addition some newer acts like Shadow Child, Nick Olivetti, & Supatrol all deliver monster tunes I really love as well.
