This is a test run of a multichannel gamelan installation at the György-Ligeti-Saal (MUMUTH) in Graz, Austria, April 2015.  Key points in a central sequence were assigned to different parts of the hall; visitors could edit both the sequence and the position of notes.  All sounds were generated using one-shot samples of the gamelan housed at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.

The finished version of this piece formed as an interactive section of a performance by the Southbank Gamelan players.  More details to follow.  For information on the software see http://ardisson.net/gamelan/pipilan/

Neophyte, for sure, and these are all my newly found treasures, that I have dug up from around the world.  One day I will produce some tracks again, until then, I will spend every minute listening to all the newly found gems!
